But I wanna buy underglow for my shit can that obviously needs it so it looks ridiculous but its an 05 Hyundai Sonata 🤣😭. Honestly thats not as bad as havin a spoiler on a Chrysler lmll 💀 I’ve seen tht car drive around my city an istg he needs to take the spoiler off 😂
Underglow is not rice at all, you just have to do it right!! Been a fan of underglow (neon) light since Need for speed underground lol but going to get some for my Focus ST
People claim Underglow as "Rice", but there's nothing race inspired about it. It's simply "just for the looks". Additionally, what about 90% of people who put stickers on their car. It's not race inspired either. It's "just for the looks".
Great video guys, very informative. The one thing I would do differently is I would wire my underglow into my headlights so that I can control the switch with my headlights. It looks much cleaner that way, in my opinion.
Nice video, only thing I would sugest is to strip the wires back instead of burning them. I know its a small amount, but in general heat can damage the copper.
I want underglow for my car one day, and I don't really give a damn who has a different opinion about it. I'd want my car to be both powerful AND attractive, not just one.

Had to stop watching after you used a lighter to strip back the wire and then wraped the ground wire around a bolt and but tape over it. Come on, let's be alittle professional.
Actually theres this phenomena where electricians, mechanics, computer tech, etc. do sketchy shit on theyre stuff cause theyre sick of doing it professionally on other peoples stuff

Nice work. One thing though. You could of connected one of the side led lights to the back led light. Reminds me of doing all that back in 2012. Have to be be crafty, when doing stuff like that.
Does hooking it up to the horn get that whole parasitic draw issue going, considering its a control box on a fise thats always on.... Dont want to uselessly kill my battery doing this
You did a great job on the video man, but let me ask why you are "burning the insulation" when stripping and soldering the connections would be a cleanlier and longer lasting results?

There’s actually a few laws regarding the neon lights because flashing,oscillating,moving or non-stationary lights are illegal and that only depends on what state you live in.
So I bought the exact same lights and never installed them. Wonder if th we still work 😅 but I don’t see a switch in mine? I was like wondering how you would turn the lights off ever if they were plugged into like your horn or something? Sorry, that might be a stupid question but I just don’t know too much about wires
I'm getting my kit installed tomorrow and wondering if the 3m is going to stay put? I thought the kit would come with brackets and zip ties but it's just like your kit with 3m. I just hope it doesn't eventually come off.

Cool idea using the Ethernet wire but you can make your life simpler using ordinary telephone wire because it is thinner and only has 4 wires so no guessing..good job!

For people who do not want to breathe in plastic, you can buy a cable stripper for the same cost of a lighter and do this correctly. Great video.
Didn't think about using the Ethernet cable to extend the wires for my Celica, I saw those extension adapters on eBay but they are kind of pricy.

Wires are too skinny to strip without cutting them, didn't have any solder plus I wanted to do a super diy that anyone could do
