Today if Tamil / Telegu films are shown in Kolkata then such film distributors must sign a deal with their Southern Counterparts to release Bengali films in TN / ANDHRA/ Telengana/Kerala either by way of Sub titles / dubbbed version For this,deals must be inked with leading Distribution houses Dharma Productions,Yash Raj Films ,Red Chillies,Viacom 18,Maddock Films, Phantom ,RSVP films to distribute Bengali films all across India. 4.Proper marketingtof #Bengalifilms is a must including deals with widely recognised popular OTT platforms( Eg. Amazon Prime,Hotstar, Netflix) and not merely regional OTT platform (Eg. HOICHOI) E.g. FilmslikeNagarkirtan,Chotushkone,BHOBHISHOTER BHOOT are nowhere available in any popular nationwide OTT platform ( except in Hoichoi) 5. To promote healthy competition and powerful content driven cinema leading production houses of India such as Dharma Productions,Yash Raj Films ,Red Chillies,Viacom 18,Maddock Films, Phantom ,RSVP films, Fox century India they must be invited to produce and distribute Bengali films all across India. The same applies mutatis mutandis applies for music labels too.Popular music labels such as T-Series,Sony must also must be attracted so to distribute Bengali film music all across not only in West Bengal but also all other parts of India. 6. Proper representation must be given to Government of West Bengal so as to allocate land for construction of single screen theaters / multiplexes so that screens can be increased on warfooting basis.This request must be made for not only Kolkata and its suburbs but also in remaining cities and districts of #West Bengal e.g Durgapur,Asansol,Haldia,Dooars, Siliguri 7. Copyright Claim must be made by respective production houses so that recent #Bangla films which have been illegally uploaded on TH-cam ( such as Praktan,Posto,BelaSeshe,Shabdo,Iche, Aschorjyo Prodip) by unauthorised channels can be brought down. 8. Implementation of Anti piracy laws must be done in true letter and spirit. Stringent action must be taken against those who violate these laws. Producers must coordinate with Police including Cyber Crime Cell so that these criminals can be nabbed and brought to justice. E.g In Chennai ,Tamil Actor Vishal sought help and coordinated with Cyber Crime Cell so as to nab persons who were illegal uploading Tamil films in website called TamilRockers 9.
