    Cristiano Ronaldo is without doubt the greatest player of the modern era. Ridiculously fast, phenomenally strong with an outstanding athletic physique, he could do it all. His ball control and dribbling skills were at least as good as Messi's, his trickery was spellbinding, and he could pass and and score equally well with both feet. He scored from outside the box and from inside, and was supreme in the air. His stats say it all. I was fortunate enough to see him play a couple of times and I literally couldn't take my eyes off him, whether he had the ball or not. If someone had written his life story as a script people would say it was ludicrous, but he's written his own script and will go down in history as the greatest of all time. Cheers from the UK

      His passing isn't even on the same planet as messi, just look at the career assists for them both, he use to be a very good dribbler in his youth but never as good as messi, was obviously alot better in the air tho, but again nowhere near the free kick ability as messi, he was phenomenal but imo messi was better

    My favourite player of all time was Paul Scholes, he scored some outrageous goals and was the best passer of the ball I've ever seen. He could pick out a player with a pass who was surrounded my 4 defenders effortlessly.
    Ronaldo once said "When we were in training, I used to do a lot of tricks which hardly any players at the club could do. Once I was showing my skills to Scholes. After I finished, Scholes took the ball and pointed to a tree which was about 50m from where we were standing. He said, I'm going to hit it in one shot. He kicked and hit the tree. He asked me to do the same; I kicked about 10 times, but still couldn't hit it, with that accuracy. He smiled and left."

      Yeah sure, you can try to manipulate guys that don't know about football. You were right on the stats on the CL (and you know it''s because he played more games), but why did you have to add "the greatest scorer in the history of world football"? You know damn right Messi has a way better goal/game ratio. He has like 100 games less and just 20 goals to score to surpass Ronaldo.

    • @josefake8326
      @josefake8326 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@adamaz7102 ehmm dude, no one is trying to manipulate hahahah. Those are facts in his career and is a video of Ronaldo... It is not necessary to discredit the career of a player with the archievements (or the almost archievements) of another, enjoy the animal that they are and stop being a fanboy. No one was talking about Messi, but i'll explain what your reading comprehension did'nt.... "the greatest scorer" it's for being the player who holds the record right now. But ok, let's talk about your idol.There's many players rigth now with better ratio than Cristiano and Messi, they're old and Messi its playing in a league of farmers (where he is not even the star) and even if he archieves that amount of goals with that team in that league, no one will give him recognition beyond the event... While the one who "only played more games" is older and playing in the actual best league and being close to the best scorer even without him and his team being in the best form.
      Put this aside and since you're so into statistics and discrediting each other, i'll give you some homework: take a look in how many goals has messi scored in rounds ko since 2014 and then look on those where his team ( Argentina too) were eliminated, then find how many points his goals and then how many points did his goals help to get in each league he has played and compare them with those of Ronaldo, it's not just the amount it's the quality, importance and situation of each goal... As I said, they are greatest of all time and it's each one opinion who is the best, but I'm sick of both sides being fanboys, there's no need to discredit to exalt the one that suits you, they both have amazing things of their own to stay in the conversation.

    One uniqueness about having a player like this in the team is he creates a 10v8 on the rest of the pitch, Teams need to press him with 2 or 3 players leaving them outnumbered on the rest of the field. Having a player on the team who can beat a man is hugely underated, Because beating a man means one other player will then have to press leaving them unbalanced and out of position.

    The Funniest Show on British TV was 'Little Britain'. Four years later they crossed the pond to America and 'Little Britain USA' was born. There was one of their Sketches that had me in Hysterics, my ribs were sore with laughing. You have to do a Reaction to it, but, you cannot show the Video. Only the Audio. You could put up a screen shot in place of the Video. It's called 'Little Britain USA - American Gym'. If you do, get ready to laugh your head off.

    he is a fine athlete for sure and wonderful to watch but players like this are now protected by the ref and rightly so because its beautiful to watch, however...
    I would of love to see Ronaldo do this in the 70s against players like Ron Chopper Harris...
    chopper would of booted him 6ft in the air and left a lovely elbow on his eye but can't get away with stuff like that now.
    react to the champions league
    it's the best teams in Europe all competing against each other it's next level.

    Ronaldo is portuguese, from our beautiful Madeira island.
    Her mother chose his name as tribute to your president Ronald Reagan because he opened an exception on his tight migration policy and allowed 500 Madeira inhabitants to migrate to the USA and have the opportunity to achieve the American Dream. Amongst those 500 there were some Ronaldo's relatives.
