    I met him at Budds Creek about 10 years ago. He was just about to open the side door on the semi. When I spotted him I just said "Hey Trey!" He was carrying a bottle
    of water and some fruit. He put those down and walked over to talk with me and my friends. We got a few pics with him and he headed back to his hideout. He didn't
    have to do that. I will always remember that about Trey. It's a real shame that he had to endure all those injuries.

    Been watching Canard race since he was on 80's. My son was 5 years behind him and he could ride. I remember watching him race his 85 against the local pros at race in 01' and he lapped them. It's the Oklahoma curse, Bogle, Nichols, Reynard all had terrible luck. But damn that dude could ride. It's good to see that he's the test rider for Honda. Also Presnell his mechanic was from my home town in Fort Gibson. The man is a class act 💯

  • @ethics3
    @ethics3 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Back in the early eighties we had a guy racing the locals in Eastern Ontario Canada with us who was damd dangerous to be anywhere near . His name was Bill Emprey . He rode like there was no one else on the track . Its almost like he was blind. He would ride right into you like you weren't even there .
    Take the start for instance . He once took 3 other bikes out when the gate dropped. He swerved wildly out of control to his right basing into the riders beside him ( god i was glad i was to his left ).
    Took out my front wheel once sending me into some boulders trackside. I waited for him to come around but he never showed. Turns out he was black flagged and went back to the pits. My brother was pissed and said to bill that if he ever came back to another race ... well,,, suffice to say he stopped coming. ( Bear in mind he only ever attended about 5 races but the carnage he caused to riders could cover 2 seasons ).
    I see in the comments( and in the video ) Trey was a danger to be around as well
