I’m an OEM certified BMW collision repair tech (dealer owned shop) and that car was clearly either wrecked hard at some point or possibly in multiple accidents. The trunk misalignment suggests a rear body panel or quarter panel has been replaced (no other reason someone would unbolt a trunk lid really); hopefully they did a decent job of it. The suspension damage suggests either that whole side was hit hard, or that wheel hit an immovable object at some other point. Although a wrecked car can certainly be repaired to like new condition, the shoddy workmanship (zip ties, non OE fasteners, damaged parts left un-replaced, etc) indicates this car was not repaired by an OEM certified shop or even someone with high standards of quality. I spent nearly a year looking for the "perfect" 535i. The internet is full of less-than-perfect cars, that's why their on the internet. I contacted a BMW dealer and told them I wanted a clean 2 or 3 year old low mileage car, preferably black on black. They called me 2 days later. They took a leased car in on trade. It was a dealer maintained 535i with the M performance package, and only 35,000 miles, with the remainder of the factory warranty still intact. Friends told me I'll pay too much if I buy from a dealer. That was totally untrue. You get what you pay for. My car is spotless, is fully equipped, and still has warranty left. My advice to anyone looking for that "perfect" used car, check the dealers first. There's a reason that cars are dumped off on the internet. That's not to say you won't find perfect cars online, but if you have issues, where will you go?
Also something to look out for on the early n20b20 engines is the timing chain issue. First identifier of a problem is a whining noise, then take off the oil cap and look to see if the plastic guides for the chain are dark orange or brown. That means you could have a huge bill coming your way.
I have a CPO BMW F30. Best Buy ever. Comes with an additional 3 year 100k warranty. It was also reconditioned by BMW after lease returned. I just did a full M sport conversion. Couldn't be happier! =)
Mario G Yes CPO is great, my mom bought a cpo 328i and the warranty is great, the first week the check engine light or service engine soon light whichever it is on BMW came, on. BMW dealer told us to bring it in and warranty covered all repairs free and with a loaner for a few days. What was replaced was the radiator and some other stuff, which I forgot but cost would've been $1000+.
Kies Motorsports it's a 2013 328i. I don't have a video right now but I will upload one tomorrow. Let me know what you think. Thanks for all your awesome videos!
Man I bought an e60 couple years ago, had stock wheels and suspension. But it was 100 percent slammed and stanced out. I was pissed. Ended up trading it in for an f30
I was looking for a two year old BMW 5 series. Issues such as the ones on this video are the reason I was afraid to shop online or from private individuals when I bought my 5 series. I called a dealer, told them what I was looking for, and they got back to me two days later. They found me a clean, low millage 535i with X Drive and the M Sport package. The car was only two years old and still had a year of factory warranty left. Fully optioned car, no smokers, no winters, and only 33,000 miles. I'll be calling a dealer again for my next one.
Thanks to your video I bought mine same way but once in my hands I make an appointment at my closest bmw dealer for a whole inspection including vin number history and service history, it came 100% clean and it has original warranty remaining for 14 months. Thanks Brian and Kies MS for the incredible service and support with all my orders, you guys are becoming the newest fastest growing company based 100% in excellent service and outstanding customer support. Make sure to get the xenon headlights on any modern BMW, the F30 3 series has the worst rated halogen headlights in the US according to the IIHS out of ANY automaker. And the xenon headlights have the angel eyes, which I think anyone could agree that they’re cool as hell.
I have a 2015 F30 320i M sport and it has all the features I ever wanted from a Moreen BMW, angel eyes, sunroof, 19” alloys, black interior, m sport everything 😁
I bought a BMW gt 335d 2016. It was sold to me with illegal front side window tints. ( found out only after sale that they were illegal) also had seatbelt buckle was broken. Also found out after sale. Then it had a drivetrain malfunction on the drive home!!! Been a month now and only started fixing ptoblems. Yeah be super critical when buying a used car. Go nuts on it. Cheak everthing before you buy. Cant wait to get it back as its a bautiful car.
Accidents are so easy to hide and without a keen eye, the lay consumer will not be able to spot it. Personally we've had experience with a used car that showed up clean on a Carfax report but had a record on a different vehicle history report called auto check. Lesson of the day? Run history reports with multiple companies. Nothing, however, beats a good old experienced visual inspection, awesome job Kies!
Bought my 2014 BMW 435i convertible thru Carvana.....could NOT be more pleased.....Perfect shape and it is AMAZINGLY quick. Almost returned it because Carmax had a 2015 428 convertible become available and thought 60hp less would be better for my son to drive (and 3k cheaper) but after driving both I couldn't give up the extra power.
Great video! I just purchased a lease return, 2014 335i, in perfect condition. What a fun car to drive! I agree, always have a car checked, by a professional, before you buy. Save yourself a lot of grief!
If you have the slightest car knowledge the best advice (if youre buying second hand) is to get a rebuild title. Most of them are perfectly fixed with no trace of any water/collision damage and the price reduction is insane. Insurance and taxes are the same. I bought my 2011 535i with a rebuild title with 70k miles for 10k, fully loaded. Its now at 105k and absolutely nothing wrong. Makes absolutely no sense in my opinion to buy second hand clean title unless youre planning on flipping the car and not keeping it.
I got my CPO 335 msport almost 2 years ago. Charge pipe blew at 35k miles and got replaced under warranty. Replaced door actuators as prevention at dealer for free at 49k. Other than that, 0 issues. car still smells new
@@KiesMotorsports how do you know? You are still accepting an inordinate amount of risk with the settlement that even you suggested was not the best. With the obvious abuse, you may be looking at premature transmission, engine, or other problems. Surprised you didn't accept the offer to repurchase and to begin again to search for a cleaner F30 - they are in abundance.
I like he he used "looked passed the excitement of a new car" cause that's what throws people off. I know when I get my next car ill be doing what he did never thought to check that stuff out
I bought a used f30 from the dealer. Literally days later I got a new turbo and my rims re-rounded. It’s a year now and I just noticed the terrible paint job on a small section in the rear.. because I bought the ceramic coating from bmw I didn’t notice it til now.. thank God I got the extended warranty because it would have cost me way too much to have that turbo replaced and the wheels fixed! I never noticed the turbo or wheel issue in the test drive because it was in rush hour and I couldn’t spool it properly... Keep your eyes peeled while buying!
I bought my 2015 -328i xdrive from Carvana. The first one I bought had a lot of dirt in the ‘hidden’ areas and below the trunk liner; also had no nav sys. I sent text on 2nd day, Sunday evening, that I wanted to return it. No problem. They replied to my text early Monday morning that they’d pick it up Tuesday between 9 & 10am. Meantime, I went back to their website and found an identical 328 for same price but 15000 less miles plus it had a nav sys. Only difference was this one didn’t have the premium sound system/satellite. I sent another text with their stock #. Again, no problem. They emailed new paperwork to sign electronically and rescheduled now a switcharoo for Tuesday at 1pm. They arrived right on time, took 20 minutes to drop one and lift other. EZ PEEZY. Still have the 2nd 328 and I love it.
Rolled fenders, chipped paint, damaged bumpers, alignement issues, steering rack issues, exhaust repair issues, damaged trunk, parts zip-tied together, damaged struts, oil leak issues, repainted, had wide tires & damaged the wheel liners, most likely suspension issues with the wide wheels and wide tires. All of those are just the issues you found and can see in a couple of days. Now imagine in 6 months, or a couple of years. Insane. No settlement could make me keep that car, unless they paid me to drive it.
In buying used vehicles, a carfax may not always catch everything as companies that are self insured either may not or be obliged to report an accident to the reporting authority. This applies to daily rentals and the like. I know that in Ontario, only collisions greater that $3000 need to be disclosed by the dealer. I went for a BMW certified series that included a Carproof(Carfax). I also ran my own just to be sure. Great clip, informative as always
He explains in the 12th minute of the video. He took all his gathered evidence back to the seller company, and they wanted to buy it back. Since he wanted to keep the car, they reduced the price, helped with the major repairs (struts, knuckles).
Yes the 4 cylinder sounds awful Diesel engine, worst engine sound in a modern vehicle with a fair bit of turbo lack too. The video is amazing, it shows even expert can miss, now that one thing the video is not counting for is time. Brian must have spent a lot of time getting the car fix, compiling all the inspection reports, writing emails, trip to dealer, bodyshop. That’s a lot of time. Having said that even CPO can be a huge miss. Inspect inspect before you buy. Thank for sharing your experience the video it’s very useful.
Thanks Brian, this video was very helpful. I am in the market for a used F10 and do not know much about the mechanics of a vehicle, so this gave me some great insight! Wish I could take you to the dealer with me lol!
I bought a CPO 2013 328i xDrive last month. I weighed buying a non CPO but I felt it was worth a little more for the piece of mind, service history and condition of the car to warrant paying for a CPO BMW. Glad things worked out for you.
Yea CPO is great if you're not going to do modding. Because I'm doing things like putting a tune on the car the week after I get it, I just accept that if I break something it's my fault. I'm not against CPO in anyway, it's actually probably the best option
Wow, by 2:04 I was sold on the whole idea of being able to test a car for a week before being locked in to a deal. That would be awesome. I use a specialist inspection guy to look at all my cars before I buy and trust him implicitly. On top of being able to let him inspect the car, I'd also be able to really get a feel for the car. sounds great. By 8:35 all I can think is RUUUUUN away!! Glad you were able to resolve the issues ok in the end. Nice video. Sounds very fair and was very informative. Cheers.
I actually just had a very similar experience with a 2018 330 that had 6,887 miles!! The car was from carmax. It was a killer deal for $28k, had a track package, premium package, M Sport. Carfax noted damage, but I said, let me take a look and had it shipped to my local Carmax. Upon seeing it, front end had been painted. Ok, fine. Looked closer, rocker panel scratched. Ok, fine. Wheels curbed. Ok fine. Took it home for a 24 hour test drive. Looked closer the next day. It also had a crooked trunk like yours, a tail light that didn't fit right, dings on the passenger side, sanding marks on rear under the paint. NO THANKS. Took it back so fast. Imagine a car with barely an oil change worth of oil with all these issues.
First of all, find someone that has ISTA Rhinegold and good experience running full diagnostics (BMW service centers are not always welcoming in this respect, they'll only check the minimum), meaning read all the details of all ECUs. Just running general purpose car errors reader is not enough. With F cars for service history it is enough to sync the fob in the dealership and then read the service history directly from iDrive, you don't need to bother asking them to run it by VIN.
Yeah bro that car was slammed and last owner obviously knew nothing about buying the right size rims and tires. 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ hopefully you can get that rear fender repainted before the paint rusts.
Brian could we get an updated version ? 22”? F and G series, like 2016 and newer. Is there a unit ( like OBDelevel for Audi ) that you can plug into the obd port and scan it? We’re going to switch from Audi to bmw, I know stuff but it’s always nice to get more info from someone who knows more. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Thank you for making this video! I’m currently looking at 2 F30’s both with M Sport one with paddle shifters and the other an XDrive without paddle shifters. So I’m sort of in between, but this has helped a lot as far as what to really look for!
Omg I would be furious. How can they lie like that. That’s embarrassing for the company. You should of exposed them. I hope they gave you at least 4K back. But that color and the m sport package would make me wanna keep the car as well. I’m sure you fixed it properly. Nice ride dude.
Its a used car so its not gonna be perfect. But Carfax is also your best friend when buying a used car. They are an independent source for finding out how kept up a cars life was.
Do not buy a 2011 335d. Nothing but problems. Spent thousands on fixing the pos. Loved the car though. However I should of researched it and realizes many others complain about the same problems I had ended up with. The 2016 340i looks like a strong build so hopefully in a couple years it’s fine
Hey Brian - sounds like a nightmare to me. You clearly have dealt with a bad situation the best you could. Good job! My 2015 335i just came to the end of the lease so I returned it to the dealer. It was in great shape (if I say so myself), and was completely reliable and totally unmolested. Whoever gets it next will have a perfect car albeit with 35K miles.
How much was the work you got done to it? I assume you got the car from "Vroom." Did you ask for reimbursement for the inspection/work you got done? If I were you I would of sent it back, or asked for a discount for part of the car in the form of a check or something.
My hands are a little tied on what I can and can't say on this comment. The company that I bought it from did reimburse me for some of the things, but that's all I can say...
Hello Brian, I just brought a 2013, 328i F30 and i also was wondering why it sounded like that till I watched your video. Thank you for the reassurance that it is fine and suppose to sound like that. By the way how much does the dealer charge to look at the car if you do not mind me asking? Thanks in advance.
Awesome video Bryan! This is my first time watching a video from your channel and it's just what I am looking for. I bought a 2015 328i Sedan with the trunk misaligned, the muffler welded, and paint work on the back. I haven't fixed any of that yet cause BMW wants to charge about 5 grants.... I'm looking forward to watch a video showing how to fix that misaligned trunk. Thank you!
It all depends on your goals for the car. If it was for my wife, I wound't have bought it, but I have plans to do a lot of things that would kill a warranty anyway, so for me it was okay
You can't always do a thorough under body inspection. But the wheel out of alignment and the trunk misalignment would have raised alarm bells. Although it can be fixed no way would I have accepted that car.
My advice for anybody looking to buy a BMW make sure you buy new or certified used BMW from a BMW dealer and buy the extended warranty my 2013 328xi is still under full warranty for the next two years I pay for nothing except tires I don't even pay for my oil changes I take it in when the service is do and I get it back and i don't pay a penny
Yea, that's a great idea. I really do like CPO, but because of the extensive list of mods that I have planned, if I was to break something, I wouldn't try to hide it.. Instead, I'll just make a video on how to fix it :) CPO is a good way to go though
Great Advice, keep up the good work. I currently own a 340i and noticed that the interior trim pieces in matte black such as the shift knob trim tends to bubble under regular sun light. Only own the car about 7 months or so which is quite unreasonable since these parts should last years to come.
You’re talking about Carvana. It was a nightmare scenario for me. They delayed my shipping by 2 weeks, and then broke my car when actually shipping. I then decided to buy another car from them, but their truck broke down when shipping it. I eventually found a CPO deal locally (which has a similar price range) and am now a happy owner of a 428i xdrive! The main reason I will not vouch for carvana is that they are an IT Company who do not have the knowledge of shipping cars. Hence they have a nice website (which is also buggy, btw), but all the logistics after you make the online purchase is a living nightmare.
Kies Motorsports Ok got it. By the way, my CPO bmw broke down within a week of purchase. Basically, I was doing a 200-miles trip and got a Drivetrain warning after 160 miles. I took it to the local dealership and they said I needed new ignition coils. The warranty covered the fix, but it made me question why I paid premium price for the CPO, since I had an issue the first week itself.
BLUF: Do a PPI in the first 7 days!!!! I had some of the same issues, filed a claim with the company and got some money back. I recently went through a well known and widely advertised "internet based car provider" to purchase a 2015 F80 M3 with 24,800 miles. The CARFAX checked out and it was beautiful when it arrived. However, when I went in to check the oil levels in the on board computer, I found that brake and oil service was overdue by 3 months and when this company put new tires on the car, they did not check the alignment- because this car pulled to the right like it was L shaped. I took it to my BMW dealer for the PPI and it came to $800.00 +. According to this company's policy they conduct a 150 point inspection---just like you noted in your video. I used the 100 day warranty, I was able to file a claim, even though it was routine maintenance.-because they failed to execute their own declared business plan *** AND*** (Most important to all) I FILED IT WITHIN THE 7 DAY OPTIONAL RETURN PERIOD.....I probably would not have gotten to file a claim had I not done the PPI and filed the claim before day 3 of the 7 days. So these companies realize their reputations can be irreparably harmed by poor service. i still think they need to improve.
Wouldn't surprise me if the previous owner had taken this car to the track, several times by the looks of that rubber! Here in Australia you can buy a vehicle history report from the roads authority to check if a prospective car has been written off or in an accident.
Thanks for this video, I know it's old but waiting on delivery of 2015 f30 it is also coming from Texas which makes me wonder if you got your car from Vroom. Is there anyway to know if the vehicle has been tuned, in the pictures it looks alittle modded but nothing shows this in service history obviously. Please let me know how to check for a tune/flash. Great video and appreciate all of your content.
Good help, but how much did you save buying the car in this condition? Wouldn't the CPO have been a better deal after you get done repairing everything you noted. Add to that the likely fact that it was abused time and time again from the previous owner with no warranty.
oh wow, really? I got a cpo and i've only had 1 electrical problem so far but it seems like this car has a lot of hidden things to watch out for. Was this advertised as just used or 'cpo' or idk, some description to make it known there could be issues?
Do you mind telling me what the company is? I've been looking to buy a car for a long time but like you said 15 minutes is not enough time to test a car out
Strut and knuckle dead giveaway that the car got hit, and remember if the alignment is too far off on f30 only way to correct it might be a positive or negative knuckle
I bought a used 550i from a BMW dealer, specifically because they go through 1,000,000 point inspection they claim. Alignment was off, some electronics didn't work, my rear brake pads barely had any meat on them as I got a brake replace warning 2 days later, one of the fog light lamps were burned out and it needed an oil change really bad....so yeah, that inspection dealers claim is all bs, they just look at the car visually and that's about it. Good news is BMW is stands behind their reputation and everything got taken care of for free after 3 hours talking to managers and later on speaking with a regional manager. Take your car to the dealer you got it from, those issues should have been fixed upon inspection.
Hey man, excellent video. Really enjoyed this and subscribing immediately. This is the first time I came across any of your videos . Looking forward to binge watch the whole lot.
great video, but for someone who does not know much about cars, keeping this would be too much of a hassle. I have the car put on a lift next time I buy used.
Thanks Bryan! I'm looking to buy a 335i M sport myself. Will look out for those things! One question do you know any common issues with the F30 that we should look out for?
Hi James, Awesome, they're great cars! I would just go through those items and check on the recalls. Mine had an outstanding one for a low pressure fuel pump.
Thanks I really enjoyed the video, although I have had my F30 for over a year I plan on taking a good luck while it's still under warranty and checking to see if I encounter any strange issues.
hey Brian, can you due a transmission oil change with one of those diy kits from companies like fcp euro KIT 24118612901KT or esc tuning ES#: 3509471. i think they are the same kit but cant confirm..
Yep, wife’s F30 sounds like a diesel truck lol. Seems the more miles she drives the louder it gets. At 80k now. What do you think about intake valve cleaning on newer bmws? Interested to hear your opinion on it
How is it going!! Im planning on getting one maybe 2014. My only problem is the feeling of the steering wheel. That you don't get to much road feel. Have you made any changes to the suspension to get more of the road feel? Only thing I could found was getting KW Street Comfort coilovers.
Hi, Awesome, do it! They all went to electronic steering, so that's how all newer cars are going to be. The coilovers may help, but won't give you that true hydraulic steering feel
Kies Motorsports Thanks. Im looking into adding memory foam for some extra support on my seat which dont have the inflatable lumbar support. Do you think its doable by accessing through the back?

Agreed. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video, as a woman who is recently separated my husband used to care for my 07 bmw 550i and this has helped me tremendously.
Other than that, 0 issues. car still smells new
Obviously that car was abused. Why keep a basket case of a car? There are tons of better 3 series on the market.
I had a settlement with the company, so the price at the end of the day reflected the condition
Rick Brisbin he’s a BMW expert. He can handle it.
that blue is awesome, i only ever see dark blue when searching for used ones
I like he he used "looked passed the excitement of a new car" cause that's what throws people off. I know when I get my next car ill be doing what he did never thought to check that stuff out
For sure! A lot of time the excitement makes you not even want to see the things that are wrong and the red flags
“It hit curbs, cats. ...anything it can find”
Lmao
lol
@@KiesMotorsports question for you.....i have a 2013...535i xdrive 8spd 90k ...i was thinkn of getting the MDH TUNE...what is your thoughts on it
I bought a used f30 from the dealer.
STANCE I NATION
Yea man
Not on a 335i ma man😥
I bought my 2015 -328i xdrive from Carvana. EZ PEEZY. Still have the 2nd 328 and I love it.
lol you were dealing with a previous slammed owner
The front bumpers are easily scraped on kerbs from parking and speed bumps etc. Great vid! Thanks for the info :)
Thanks, David
Why didnt you return the car to the dealer?
vk2jmv He didn't order it from a dealer. He bought it online secondhand from another company.
Brian Weir he said a company that you could try for 7 days the. Return. I’m also wondering why he kept it.
He explains in the 12th minute of the video. He took all his gathered evidence back to the seller company, and they wanted to buy it back. Since he wanted to keep the car, they reduced the price, helped with the major repairs (struts, knuckles).
I guess the lesson is don’t buy online. Always have a good look around before you pay.
I'd say the lesson is always have a ppi done on a car before you buy it
Yes the 4 cylinder sounds awful Diesel engine, worst engine sound in a modern vehicle with a fair bit of turbo lack too.
Sure thing, thanks for checking us out!
Thanks Brian, this video was very helpful. I am in the market for a used F10 and do not know much about the mechanics of a vehicle, so this gave me some great insight! Wish I could take you to the dealer with me lol!
Did BMW charge you to check the vin & lift it?
-2012 N20 Owner
I bought a CPO 2013 328i xDrive last month. I weighed buying a non CPO but I felt it was worth a little more for the piece of mind, service history and condition of the car to warrant paying for a CPO BMW. Glad things worked out for you.
Yea CPO is great if you're not going to do modding. Because I'm doing things like putting a tune on the car the week after I get it, I just accept that if I break something it's my fault. I'm not against CPO in anyway, it's actually probably the best option
Kies Motorsports Very true although I got bit by the mod bug. Just put on the JB+ and an exhaust is coming soon too. I enjoy the videos, thanks.
Yea, for sure. I have some things in the near future that may need paint, so I'll do it all at once
Looks like to me this car has been airborne!
Floyd Benson lol
Brian could we get an updated version ? 22”? F and G series, like 2016 and newer. Is there a unit ( like OBDelevel for Audi ) that you can plug into the obd port and scan it? We’re going to switch from Audi to bmw, I know stuff but it’s always nice to get more info from someone who knows more. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Why did you keep it⁉️🤦🏻♂️
So true about the alleged numerous checks by bmw. They forgot to plug the rain sensor in mine which apparantly had 120 checks
Lol, they must have only done 119
That thing was for sure slammed at one point
Thank you for making this video! I’m currently looking at 2 F30’s both with M Sport one with paddle shifters and the other an XDrive without paddle shifters. So I’m sort of in between, but this has helped a lot as far as what to really look for!
RECIFE Brasil South America here, what great advice, keep up the good work Brian...
Thanks! Yep, looking forward to finding the diamond in the rough in this one..
How much was the monthly lease?
Don't they have a certified car check company that just goes through the entire car to see what's wrong? Like German Dekra or Dutch Anwb companies?
How much was the work you got done to it? I assume you got the car from "Vroom." Did you ask for reimbursement for the inspection/work you got done? If I were you I would of sent it back, or asked for a discount for part of the car in the form of a check or something.
My hands are a little tied on what I can and can't say on this comment. The company that I bought it from did reimburse me for some of the things, but that's all I can say...
My English is not very good but I hope that you will understand. How to remove creaks in the salon, around the panel, door handles and armrest? thanks
How much does BMW charge to lift & inspect
Thank you!
Great, thanks! Stay tuned, more to come!
And that is why a CPO is worth the extra money, plus there new warranty is way better.
#1 MISTAKE - "I bought my car online" that's just like online dating bruh
Great Advice, keep up the good work. I currently own a 340i and noticed that the interior trim pieces in matte black such as the shift knob trim tends to bubble under regular sun light. Only own the car about 7 months or so which is quite unreasonable since these parts should last years to come.
Thanks! Yea, my old 328 had the same problem
I saw one online 2014 335i Xdrive white exterior red interior with the M package and it’s a manual 😍. I think they want $21k has 52,000 miles.
Different company, but same basic thing..
Nah, the rubber was because the strut was bent, most likely to a pot hole
Ken Lawton nah most likely just stupid stance guy
Thanks for this video, I know it's old but waiting on delivery of 2015 f30 it is also coming from Texas which makes me wonder if you got your car from Vroom.
Is there anyway to know if the vehicle has been tuned, in the pictures it looks alittle modded but nothing shows this in service history obviously. Please let me know how to check for a tune/flash.
Great video and appreciate all of your content.
I bought a 1998 BMW 528i E39 with 250,000 miles on it, it still runs well, do you think it's gonna last me another 50k miles?
Bro. Should we have to pay bmw dealer for inspection and checking previous accident history etc. plz reply
M 4 Men yes
How many miles did it have and how much was it?
Good help, but how much did you save buying the car in this condition? Wouldn't the CPO have been a better deal after you get done repairing everything you noted. Add to that the likely fact that it was abused time and time again from the previous owner with no warranty.
All in all (this is not the settlement amount) I saved $10k by going this way
oh wow, really? I got a cpo and i've only had 1 electrical problem so far but it seems like this car has a lot of hidden things to watch out for. Was this advertised as just used or 'cpo' or idk, some description to make it known there could be issues?
I am in the market for a used BMW, wish I had a friend like you to help me buy a nice one.
Based on the surrounding damage, its more like someone ran over something
Yea, it seems that they always have these numbers, but the reality is you still need to have them checked out anyway.
why did u keep the car if it was so messed up
Hey man, excellent video. Really enjoyed this and subscribing immediately. This is the first time I came across any of your videos . Looking forward to binge watch the whole lot.
great video, but for someone who does not know much about cars, keeping this would be too much of a hassle. I have the car put on a lift next time I buy used.
Aye Brian please make a video on installing the turbo oil feed line in the f30
Why did you buy it ?
What company did you buy the car from? Thanks!
A classic case of dealership buying an accident new model from the salvage yard n fixing it n covering it under warranty to make handsome dollar.
Thanks Bryan! I'm looking to buy a 335i M sport myself. Will look out for those things!
One question do you know any common issues with the F30 that we should look out for?
Hi James,
Awesome, they're great cars! I would just go through those items and check on the recalls. Mine had an outstanding one for a low pressure fuel pump.
Great Channel, love your content. You should have at least 1 million subscribers
Thanks I really enjoyed the video, although I have had my F30 for over a year I plan on taking a good luck while it's still under warranty and checking to see if I encounter any strange issues.
Yea, make sure you get anything addressed before it runs out
There is a reason why CPO go for more money, and this is the perfect example.
I'm surprised by your knowledge you didn't get a PPI BEFORE you bought the car. The best $150-200 you'll spend.
hey Brian, can you due a transmission oil change with one of those diy kits from companies like fcp euro KIT 24118612901KT or esc tuning ES#: 3509471. i think they are the same kit but cant confirm..
I'd already be on the phone returning that car. There are companies that work for YOU that will go out and inspect a car.
Great video! But what place did you use to test the car out for 7 days? Never heard of that before
Yep, wife’s F30 sounds like a diesel truck lol. Seems the more miles she drives the louder it gets. At 80k now. What do you think about intake valve cleaning on newer bmws? Interested to hear your opinion on it
Jarrett Barnett check the oil
I didn't know you are in NJ, good to know, I am here also.
Cool, where at??
hi i want to buy a F20 2013 120d what must i look for to aviod the timing chain issue on the n47 engine
What kind of grill is that??
Also what car is it
How is it going!!
Did the preowner drove rallye with this?
Can you please show us how to remove the front seatback plastic piece. Im interested in seeing the lumbar support. Thanks in advance
I'll see if I can get to it one day soon..
Kies Motorsports Thanks. Im looking into adding memory foam for some extra support on my seat which dont have the inflatable lumbar support. Do you think its doable by accessing through the back?
