Fix the officiating MLS. That was a ridiculous application of DOGSO. The ball was headed out of bounds, so its not an obvious goal scoring opportunity.
It doesn't matter if the ball was going out, the goalkeeper didn't know that and his intention was to deny the striker of a goal scoring opportunity, let's just wait for this week's instant replay and he surely will quote an rule to decide if it was DOGSO or not

If anything, it should have been a yellow. Its also cmmical that folks are arguing that Guzan stuck his leg out to trip the LAFC player while simultaneously heading the ball; like the keeper knew that it was going to deflect off his face and a and arm. You would have a point if Guzan was laying on the ground and stuck his leg out to deliberately trip the player. The ball was headed out of bounds.
