9 winless, 4 straight losses at home, guzan is still starting. poor subs and poor team selection. not to mention his record with this team isn’t even above .500. we fired de boer for actually winning games and trophies. we have one of the most talented squads in the mls and pineda isn’t good enough to actually utilize them. also his tactics just suck, but hey at least we win the possession dor
For some reason even with so much time playing against a "better side" and with one man down, it was surprising not to see at least a draw. That miss from Rios on the first half was shocking!
No way Pineda keeps his job if this was happening in England. Arthur Blank needs to open up the checkbook and stop using his little soccer team as a tax write off.
2/3 of Atlanta's first squad need to go. They're an embarrassment to watch, even when it's only the highlights. Guzan, Rios, Wiley, Silva, all need to go. Guzan first - no idea why at 39 he's still first choice keeper when they have Cohen as a viable option.
I was referring to Brooks' yellow and the lack of similar calls against LA. Guzan knows better, and it was a red. I couldn't tell if it was a handball by the LA player in real time, though.
Fix the officiating MLS. That was a ridiculous application of DOGSO. The ball was headed out of bounds, so its not an obvious goal scoring opportunity.
It doesn't matter if the ball was going out, the goalkeeper didn't know that and his intention was to deny the striker of a goal scoring opportunity, let's just wait for this week's instant replay and he surely will quote an rule to decide if it was DOGSO or not
@@ClaudeFrollo, are you serious? For DOGSO several conditions must be met: “The following must be considered: * distance between the offence and the goal ✅ * general direction of the play ❌ * likelihood of keeping or gaining control of the ball ❌❌ * location and number of defenders ✅” If ANY of those conditions aren't met irs not DOGSO. If anything, it should have been a yellow. Its also cmmical that folks are arguing that Guzan stuck his leg out to trip the LAFC player while simultaneously heading the ball; like the keeper knew that it was going to deflect off his face and a and arm. You would have a point if Guzan was laying on the ground and stuck his leg out to deliberately trip the player. The ball was headed out of bounds. Even if he'd gotten to the ball before it went over the end line the angle would have been tough. When you say it doesn't matter id the ball was going out of bounds then it is clear you don't understand the rule. Horrible application of DOGSO as well as VAR as if it takes you over five minutes to make a decision isnt not a “clear and obvious” error.
@@langstonwalker1618 You are right, it doesn't meet the standard to be a DOGSO but it WAS a foul and, even if it was accidental, he should've been awarded a yellow card. As you said, the VAR was horrible.
4:34 MLS players are surprisingly so good at long-shot attempts at goal. Very impressive how often they bang in freekicks.
Also amazing at how poor they are finishing inside the six-year box 😢 we should’ve tied this game at the minimum
@@dunbarcustomsoundsix year?

“MLS players” there are players all over the world who are good at free kicks 😂, in Europe, South America, Asia etc…

Props to Atlanta for winning the Europa League defeating mighty Bayer Leverkusen.
Lmao what? That's Atalanta Bergamo Club from Italy. Not Atlanta United from Georgia, US 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Bogusz ❤️
2 red cards for both players
Once again Lloris made a good match
6:52 ATL could've won this game. It was like that red card turned their attacking feature on, it didn't even matter that they were one man down.
Free kick
Sometimes being down a man strengthens a teams unity and desire to win.
3:00 I'm sorry but who misses from that close?
I could do better it's disappointing really
You think that’s bad check out Aliyu’s Miss vs LA Galaxy 😭😭
I was at the game it was even more of a bs miss in person
Just MLS tings 🫠
Pineda has ruined this club
I mean they created plenty of chances. They just didn't take them. That's not the managers fault. If giakoumakis was playing you may have won

Yeah unfortunately the guy he learned under “Brian smetzer” is a phony and needs to be fired in Seattle as well.

Good--Cohen will start Atlanta's next league match.
Guzan making a save. The crowd be like: GUZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Guzan what a goof ball
Huge win !!! Lafc with 4 games straight wins 🎉
Sorry atl 😂next time
Guzan is like a house burglar who's aware there are CCTVs but pretend that they're broken.
Since 2022 first time Atlanta United could not score at home.

cant believe they beat Leverkusen 3-0 but cant score against LAFC
I get your joke but it ain’t funny

It’s cuz of them switching from The Bald Guy to Cohen

Seeing Bogusz and Olivera struggle all last year, makes their success this year that much better
Bogusz was fine last year imo. He’s a midfielder that was forced into playing out of position as a striker
For some reason even with so much time playing against a "better side" and with one man down, it was surprising not to see at least a draw. That miss from Rios on the first half was shocking!
Guzan has got to go. His time has passed. Atlanta is a great soccer city with huge fan base. The same fans won’t accept that guzan is outdated.

What a tough game with Atlanta United
Let's hope Atlanta United can win better on Wednesday against Inter Miami

that LAFC forward really sucks. Bowanga or whatever his name is.

DearAU hot head fans, maybe Pineda should out, but on green field - players play (good or shitty game)
Guzan didn’t even need to come out for that ball. The trajectory of the ball on the bounce was coming right to him 😢

It's tradition. MLS refs...*sigh*
