I know very little about dancing, but what I've learned by watching dancers react to this is that this choreo is impossible. It requires two very difficult things at the same time: fluidity and precision. You can't be under muscle tension, like with hip hop moves; you have to be loose, but the moves require precision and control. The dance practice for this makes that fact even more obvious.
Please do check the dance practice to this. Even if you did that on your own time. This song and choreo is iconic and caused huge shifts in the whole industry. Taemin here breaking gender norms and freeing art. Before kpop was pretty strictly stuck to boy and girl dance choreos and you can still see that to some extent but it has become much more free.
