thanks for ur transparency over pain when it comes to fibre arts. i feel like people only talk about fixes in videos about ergonomics, they dont mention it in vlogs or talk about their pain. i get sore elbows and tingling from crocheting (plus cycling, computer work all together) and no one talks about that except saying "do stretches". if your tendons are tight, simple stretches wont do enough. u gotta see a physio.
I've been working on a granny square cardigan, and ran out of steam two months ago. It's a relief to see someone else dealing with some of the same creative issues/fatigue. Or having to rethink their concept several times over. I started a blanket project that I need to finish first, but I'm looking forward to getting back to my cardigan now. :)
i have never used moss stitch in crochet before, and i ABSOLUTELY ADORE how amazing it looks on your cardigan!!! i added this to my to-try-list, and subscribed
Lol I actually did take a break and stretch when you said to take a break and honestly, thank you. My wrist has been sore every now and then and I don’t want carpal tunnel in my 20s
I absolutely adore this! It’s so cute! 🍑 I love the subtle Animal Crossing reference. I just got into Animal Crossing for the first time this past August when I got a switch and acnh for my birthday, and peaches are my islands native fruit so this makes me very happy. 😊 I’m a long time knitter - I’ve known how to knit since I was a kid - and while I never really finished any projects when I was younger I’ve been getting back into fibre arts as an adult and made a few things for myself and my family members. I’ve been just getting into crochet and have been looking for some new ideas since finishing my first project - a scarf I made for one of my brothers - so I might just have to take some inspiration from this! A cute peach cardigan or bag would make a great addition to my wardrobe! 🍑🧡
I remeber this cardigan from the last video. It turned out so cute. I love the animal crossing inspiration ❤I would love to see some tutorials for how you come up with these designs and good ways to start getting into crocheting!
I don't knit, and I don't follow knitting themed channels on youtube, but for some reason the algorithm decided I need this suggestion and so here I am. The design is very cute and you're very talented. Keep it going 😍
I’ve recently got into crocheting and seeing videos like yours makes me want to keep going! I love your video style and presentation and just the video concept itself so I’m now subscribing! 😊
Lovely video and project. I just noticed that you carry your elbows away from your body when you crochet. To help with pain you can try bringing them closer to your ribs. That helped with the strain on my wrists. Again lovely sweater great work. 😊
i LOVE this cardigan & the colors you chose are so lovely together! would you mind if i recreated this for my friend? her nickname is peach and i thought your design was so pretty. i also totally agree with the idea to only make things you'd love !!
Thank you so much for watching and I'm glad you like it :)) You can definitely recreate it for your friend! If you do replicate it I'd appreciate credit, and I'd love to see the finished product!
Omg this cardigan looks so cute! You really inspired me with this. The peach details are gorgeous! 🍑 I really loved this style of video and also how realistic your creating process was. I crocheted a cardigan over a few months and I always feel incompetent when you tubers say they created something so big in a weeks worth of time or less 😵 I also loved the little illustrations while you were crocheting the pieces together, very helpful! I would also absolutely loooove a pattern for a project like this 😍 I also saw people on tiktok use beauty blenders to stick their crochet hook into to make it more ergonomic. Might be more lightweight and comfortable. Enough rambling now...

Yes! You can't force creativity and sometimes you just won't feel like doing it! Good luck on your projects :)
