there was a time I woke up last year when I just had nothing but sorrow, self hate, and regret for my decisions in my life. It was early in the morning and it was all i could think of, and it was foggy, like this, where you could barely see in front of you. I got in my car and went to a view where absolutely nothing was around me but clouds and fog, weeping. It was a great release but also one of the saddest moments of my life, that I felt such a desire to disappear into the clouds. I still wish I was doing more with my life and made better decisions, but things will be ok. I hope. I want to feel alive and feel worthy of love and maybe that day will come

Anyone ever experience this sudden mood drop during happy time in life? And it isnt like.. sad depression. Its painful, but the pain is clear, beautiful almost. I know this will sound tacky but like a main character in a movie during a hard life moment. You just look with your empty eyes wherever, walk like a zombie and listen to some sad shit. And once again, its not just sad. You almost dont want it to end. Its like all the beautiful parts from depression with just the right amount of pain.
Once again, its during a happy time in life, usually when you worked for this happiness, and then its like you earned the privilege to be sad without worrying that this sadness will ruin your life. At least for a while. Like a pitstop. I really need a hug.

I'm listening to this thinking about this guy I love. He is depressed but he is actually in the right path to overcome this horrible place he is stuck in for few months now.
We kind of have a history together. Just few days of support and whatever love we could have called it. It was beautiful, and I loved every second of it. He was such a loving, gentle but deeply lost soul. I know that I can't be part of his journey throught his recovery, but I still, silently, deeply love the person he is. This song reminds me of when we were alone, uptstairs, my head on his laps as I was mapping his face with my fascinated hands, talking about ghosts. Just a moment in time, knowing how short it was, but oh so simple. And even if i'm not the one whom will hold his hand at the end of it, I'm just so grateful we managed to support and cherish each other for just few days.
