- Just a simple walk-through of Dollywood on November 19, 2023. Apparently this was the first weekend of the holiday decorations and it was crazy crowded. Who knew?  we had a blast but we would’ve loved to been able to go Sunday and Monday. However, Dollywood was closed on Monday and Thursday,which happened to be Thanksgiving, so we only got one day and we missed a lot.
