I appreciate your respirator comments. My father passed this year and he was a paint and body man forever. He would wear a respirator for painting but never for grinding or welding. He developed pulmonary fibrosis in one lung and then cancer in the other. He basically died suffocating. I watch a lot of TH-cam channels where guys are just grinding away, welding or screwing around and not protecting their eyes, ears or lungs and feel very sad for them after watching my father slowly become unable to breathe for about a year. Protect yourself. I always wear at least an N95 mask when kicking up any kind of dust working on a car. You don't know what that dust is made of from that car sitting for years. Just subscribed to your channel because of your care and intelligence.
I'm here from a recommendation of DD speed shop. I must say this isn't your first day fabricating is it Mike 😉 you really did some fine workmanship and explained everything you would doing for that everyone can understand. Great job and I'm looking forward to what's next 👍✌️🇺🇲
@@HowesItDoinGarage The C10 kit is fully bolt on. Had to slot almost every hole, trim several brackets, had a whole bag of the wrong size lock nuts, and it took 3 tries to get me the brake lines that fit the calipers. The rear 4-link had some instruction issues but everything did fit together better than the front.
Good tip about the galvanized metal. I did that to myself when I was putting floorpans in my Jeep. I had to crawl in the house. It took a week for me to feel better.
Love your shop! Great work and thanks for the welding respirator tip. Look forward to seeing more of your content. Thanks to DD for this recommendation 👍
I really love the shop! For a fairly quiet guy!, it's obvious very quickly that you are very intelligent and talented! Kinda goes without saying for me. I myself will continue to watch and try help spread ur channel! Thanks for sharing! 🇺🇲💯✌
Very nice video Mike. Thanks for sharing. You have a really nice shop there. Thankyou for the advice regarding why you wear the respirator. Metal poisoning from zink and other metals is never a good thing. Its one of the reasons why they outlawed zink chromate and replaced it with zink oxide. The work you did on the Ford Fairlane looks amazing. DD Speed Shop told me to check out your TH-cam Channel. Look forward to seeing more future content. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the respirator tip, definitely important, I always see guys grinding, welding, doing brakes without them, not good, ya need a fresh air supply
I watch DD Speed Shop and I watch United by Trucks, now I watch Mike Howe! Great advice about the respirator, also some of the really old cars might have lead in the original paint.
Dan sent me to check out your new channel , if Dan says you're a good guy , no need to guestioning it . Good luck with your venture , I'll be watching.
It's good to see young men doing mechanics. I would rather watch people like you working on cars, trucks and customs work. Hope your channel grows by leaps and bounds. Papad.t....
Congratulations on your channel I just watched your videos on TCI suspension install I have a 1966 two door post Fairlane and am going to a TCI suspension kit my self my question is how did you know where to centre the kit in when the original suspension was gone Your explanation was good in your description but it would have been better if you explained how and why you got your measurements information from to set the front end up before welding otherwise great video I have subscribed Cheers Rob

Thank Dan from DD, he recommended I check out ur channel! I noticed the old Chevy trucks in the beginning of the video. I'm a really big fan of those late 50's and early mid 60's trucks. Do they belong to you? And what are the plans for them? 🇺🇲💯✌
Good video, you gotta calm down though, way too high energy 😂 just kidding, it’s nice having real people showing great work. Is that suspension based on Pinto Geometry like all the hot rod stuff?

Good video, you gotta calm down though, way too high energy 😂 just kidding, it’s nice having real people showing great work. Is that suspension based on Pinto Geometry like all the hot rod stuff?
I’m guessing it is, most of these suspensions are some rendition of a mustang II or similar
Subbed ya, good work, thanks for sharing

I think it might be based off a mustang 2 but it is a complete TCI custom setup
