@Falconlibrary A funny part of the scene is when Dennis is explaining the separation of powers in the commune and Arthur is like, "Yes, I see..." like he's heard enough of this drivvle in the past!
Oh look Bessie, another microbrained fool who has to drop an F bomb just to make himself feel important. Great job, microbraimed pinhead. Show us all your lack of intelligence.
I saw it in the theatre when I was in 6th grade. Though I thought several parts were funny, but I was a bit too young to appreciate much of the humor, like Dennis the Peasant--that part went over my head and I had trouble with the British accent--and some of the random stuff that happens in the movie confused me. It wasn't until later when I was better educated that I appreciated all of the jokes. To me, it's pretty easily the GOAT of comedies.
I remember when I first watched it when I was probably 9, before the film started I just thought "oh boy another one of dad's films that I won't care about and leave within the first 9 minutes", and instead I found possibly one of my favourite films of all time. And like someone said, this film is the equivalent of playing D&D with a chaotic party.
You all had forgotten that... the people who f'ed up the sound quality had been sacked, then sacked again, re-sacked, sacked again and those who had been sacked were sacked😂😂😂
The editing hurts the comedy, there were skits that either lost the beginning or the end. It just makes me want to watch the film in its entirety for the 100th time.
2024 what is the first thing you need from England 🏴 Absolutely funny 😁 i like all Of them thanks for your wonderful films 🎥 August 3rd 2024 I'm 81years old ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Never ever to be repeated !!! Historically and politically incorrect - but hilarious for all times - such utter nonsense turned into laughter- it is simply brilliant - live on Monty !!!
Tonight I watched this for the first(and last)time: disgraceful how the memory of Arthur and his knights was trodden in the mire. Why couldn't the writers lampoon mythical beings such as Moses and John the Baptist instead of England's heroes?
Only issue I have with this video, is that the whole movie is the best part
You’re just here for an argument.
How is that an issue?
Right? Love this movie. Every time.
That was my first thought as well. Even before I watched it.
THATS WHAT I WAS ABOUT TO SAY
The galloping around with the fake coconuts sounds because they could not afford horses for the filming of the movie. Brilliant!
I never knew they couldn’t afford horses I just figured they liked to use them lol 😂

The best of Monty Python and the Holy Grail: basically the entire movie
Dennis the Peasant is a certified classic that will survive the ages.
Dennis RULES
Of course that is why....
Oh King eh, very fancy
@Falconlibrary How did you get to become king then. BY EXPLOITING THE WORKERS!!
@Falconlibrary A funny part of the scene is when Dennis is explaining the separation of powers in the commune and Arthur is like, "Yes, I see..." like he's heard enough of this drivvle in the past!
Now I've gotta watch the whole thing again.
Me, too! 🤣🥰
I did and I loved it. However, I made my brother watch it, and he hated it.

I love how at 5:00 one knight still says "nee" after the main knight finishes saying their new name. God that scene is my favorite.

If I had one wish it would be to live in Castle Anthrax.
Perilous. Only the bravest knights could hope to survive. 😌

Agreed, no edits needed, the whole movie is quotable, classic and never in peril.
"COME BACK HERE AND TAKE WHAT'S COMIN' TO YOU!!! I'LL BITE YER LEGS OFF!!"
You skipped "When suddenly, the animator suffered a fatal heart attack."
Maybe the dumbest joke but the funniest of the movie
Nice timing lol. He who is valiant, and pure of spirit may find the Holy Grail in the Castle of Arrrrgggghh.

I finally watched the movie last week and I thought he just died lol
"Can't I have just a little bit of peril?" Just perfect!
Can't believe it's about to be 50 years man....
My dad saw this in the theater when it came out. I'm so jealous.
So did mine and stayed waaaay longer because of the abrupt ending, thinking it was a gag that had not finished.

This is the only Monty Python movie approved by BYU so I saw it a dozen times in college. I love the memories!
While I like Monty Python and the Holy Grail, I want crazy about the other ones.
It does say the word "pussy" but only once, always weird to me to see where religious censors draw the line... So vibesy.
