  • A few years ago, the African Ghanaian typically used 'Bidie ne Borɔdetire' (Charcoal and Plantain stalk) to brush the teeth. In recent times it is still in use as seen in the video. The composer portrays how children woke up from bed early in the morning and began to chase for food without brushing their teeth.A discipline that parents stood up for to ensure oral health of their wards before it became a part of them.
    Brush the teeth before you eat.
    The composers' usage of 'fitafita', and 'fekɔfekɔ' depicts how well something needs to be done to perfection.
    The earlier you begin whatever you aspire to do the better.
