I see you're using some sort of elastic harness. 3:04 Can you tell us what the point of that is and where you bought it? It looks like it trains/focuses you on deep sitting. I would like to know more about it. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Wearbands resistance bands :) Use them for dryland, turncable, slideboard etc. Super cool and simple way to add resistance and get more out of a workout. wearbands.com/?rfsn=6931469.4fab3b
@@thorupviktor Nice that you answered my question! I can really use those resistance bands, especially since I dislocated my arm this afternoon and suffered a tear in my shoulder after a very clumsy fall on the ice rink in Groningen. 6 weeks skating ban....
I have had my UltraSlide board for about 6 years now. It's fantastic and enables me to train during inclement weather, as you had noted. As a result, I tend to use it for 60 to 80 minutes in a stretch, using the entire 8ft length. It's an incredible workout and helps to build muscle more than one can do by skating marathon distances (i.e., because it's harder to slide on the board than on inline skates). Never tried to refine my technique with it though, but I'll look forward to trying it as you had suggested. Thank you as always!
Hello Viktor, I am a regular viewer of your videos from India. I follow you for very beneficial tips for my five year son who is into skating... It would be helpful if you could briefly tell how you built your own slide board when you started using them. Thanks for posting such videos for us, very helpful.
Hi Viktor, Im using those rubber bands when I slideboard. However, when I slide it is very hard to keep my knee bend, even stopping on either sides I have made sure my knee bend at least 90deg. So my hips bobbing up and down. How to work to keep it even levels?. Thanks
