Experience the beautiful moments that unfolded on Day One and Day Two of Alkebulan Fusion Festival 2024: Coast to Coast-a fervent celebration of community, Youth, and culture.
In its second edition, Kaklamadu, a fishing community in Labadi, Ghana, became a nurturing space where individuals from all walks of life came together-visual artists, dancers, poets, DJs, musicians, scholars, community organizers, fishermen and women, boxing coaches, and curators from around the world. It was a time to explore meaningful collaboration, storytelling, and the richness of culture across the African continent.
From @_addis_ababa class, which nurtured self-care and body awareness, to @ehmikhid_ Workshop on healing and resilience, participants engaged in deep, reflective work to foster personal and communal growth. The festival also featured a Film Workshop from Phaith OT, as part of the Beghast SEED Initiative, themed Beyond the Frame. This workshop invited participants to delve into the vital connection between visual storytelling, ethics, and humanity, offering a space to reimagine how stories are told and shared
