Republican Missouri Senator Josh Hawley pressed Attorney General Merrick Garland over the FBI's biased actions against a Pro-Life activist.
Houck, a devoted Catholic father and Pro-Life sidewalk counselor, was wrongfully charged under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, which alleged that he violated federal law by assaulting an abortion clinic worker. In reality, Houck was trying to protect his son from a Planned Parenthood volunteer's harassment. The FBI stormed Houck's home with armed agents in September, causing immense trauma and fear for his seven children.
A jury declared Houck not guilty within an hour.
