      my god that would be awesome. I mean if this were a simulator it would make more sense. How does one person own a whole workshop like this and be the only one working there. Definitely would enjoy a multiplayer version of this game.

    2021 looks beautiful. Ah, the crankshaft bearing caps. So easy to forget about and so awkward to see. I've missed those a few times myself in the 2018 version. Great vid. Keep up the great work!

    Immersion gone. Not enough struggling with rusted bolts breaking off and serious lack of hours of furiously looking for the ten millimeter socket.😂

    putting the engine back together to find out that you forget one or multiple things in the engine to then rip it all apart again and put it back together is a pain but it's fun. Just finished my Volvo yesterday. Can't wait for the full game to come out.

    just got into 18 a couple weeks ago and fell in love with it, but no matter how many times i played it i always forgot the bearings and caps and rip it all apart... really makes you want to put your fist through your monitor! This games looks so much better though, and the graphics and reflections of the screw and parts and lighting as you move it around is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for showcasing the game!

    I'm a huge fan of CMS 2018. Now I believe that CMS 2021 will become one of my next fav. games of all time.
    P.S. To get rid of the rust of the exterior parts that you cannot disassemble and make them like new, you have to use the welding machine. And next time when you assemble an engine, better use the engine stand ;)
    Regards! :)

  • @Cadody21
    @Cadody21 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Missing the oil pan and the like is why you should always assemble engines on the stand then move them over.
    Secondly there is a yellow cart with a blue oxy tank that should allow you to remove the rust?

    Ohh man... My boss would have been mad @ me had I burned an extra day taking a motor BACK apart, that I was rebuilding b/c I'd 4got to install rod caps, and/or oil pan !!! I would have FIRED me MYSELF, TBH 😱😂 !!! But being it's a simulator... I'm not going to chew you out on it, too MUCH 🤗. However, It's certainly greasier, & much different after 20+ years ( full time, & 5x kids l8r ) being in the auto field, Zamboni operator to tech to Shop foreman---> to eventually Opened/Sold my own Auto Repair shop, that much IRL daily grind !!! Which is what I tried to convey to "New Boots" when they were just starting their Auto tech careers... But you did surprising well. You have the basics Auto repair 101's, of what to where down, then retracing to get that section of what 2 where. As in some people are totally lost. In if, they're thinking a front stabilizer link pins, Somehow, goes in the motor internally somewhere... If so they have ALOT to learn yet at that point !!! Some CLEARLY will NOT be career techs🤣. There's a difference between helping Dad rebuild the ole GM out back on weekends type of tech, VS. the HANDS ON, schooled, educated, career MINDED, focused FULL BODIED TECHNICIAN. Everything is a system, or Section. Electrical system, suspension system, fuel system, INTERNAL motor system, brake system, etc. Don't start on another "System" until you've 100% finished that system. IOW, don't start on the BRAKE system, IF you haven't 100% finished the Fuel System or any current "System" your working on. At least that's how it worked for me IRL. You don't want to look over at a BOX full of NEW unopened parts STILL sitting on the bench, when your adding OIL !!! On Toyota frame recalls, also V6's ( 3vz & 5vz ) Head gasket recall fiasco until I got so used to em, like the back of my hand, I could R/R them in my sleep !!! But, the 1st few, I used to lay every old part I took off, on the bench ( especially internals on motor R/R ) and match up all new parts ( MT boxes ) You saw how tedious it was to just take the head back off in Simulator. Well IRL, you would need ANOTHER $500+ head gasket set. Stretched head bolts ( on some ) FIPG, cleaned off, a new tube. HOURS upon HOURS of IRL RE-DO mistake, that would cost thousands of actual REAL parts, and labor dollars. Customers are usually in a loaner car, etc. So but an experienced FULL TIME, quality, IRL tech couldn't, shouldn't, & WOULDN'T make many errors. They were able to get to that position, from actually many, many years of learning, banging your head accidentally a few times on the lift, hitting your fingers ( OOPS I meant ball peen hammer ) drilling out some rusty broken bolts, dealing with late 80's, 90's asbestos lined brake shoes, And oh yea, how about the HIGH $ personal tool boxes investment 🤑!!! Some SST tools are supplied by the manufacturer/dealer. However repairs/rebuilds/overhauls take ALOT of time, SKILL, dedication, and effort. IRL, there is ZERO chance of mistakes. You get ONE chance at doing the LABOR/INSTALL the 1st time CORRECTLY. IRL you don't get 2 chances on MAJOR forgets. If the "NEW PART" fails, which sometimes it did, I would/could go to my boss and say, well the LABOR didn't fail, But the part did. Warranty the labor time & "PAY ME" again. As YOU completely understood, much MUCH more than mouse clicking parts On/Off 😃😋. But, I'm quite sure you realized that from your editing skills the time it took you IN GAME to mouse click to remedy your mistake 😂😎. I should get, my now ex wife to give this sim a try, So she'll finally REALLY realize, I wasn't at work all day, just sketching ponies 😋😎 !!! Thanks for the review, Good job, I'll more than likely get this Sim, because looks like, challenging old memories fun, fun, fun. It's certainly less greasy, and I won't be in heavy thought process mode, and So NO inadvertent bangs on the Ole noggin, on the lift either !!! 😂🤣🤔😉
