    Here in the Philippines, when it turns brown..we make this pillow. Here in my province we call this "doldol." Thanks for sharing my friend.

    That fruit called Randu in East Java, Indonesia. Randu produce cotton to make pillow & bed. But my family never eat Randu. 😊

      @@ariani6744 lah sama, aku juga baru tau kak. Rasanya kyk gimana ya kak randu muda di masak ? dari bentuk e ketika di potong2 kok kayak Gambas. Tau Gambas gak kak ? Gambas itu Oyong kak. Kalo di Indonesia kan randu cuma di buat bikin bantal & kasur ya kak 😁

    Just like patola veggies if it is not yet so ripe you can cook it as a soup wit miswa but if it turns brown you can use it as loofah.

    I have nevet seen the fruit . I have seen the wild cotton tree grow and from the buds cotton we use to collect and make pillows it use to grow wild at a particular place some time . I never knew so many flowers are edible .

    Local people / people in village in my country Malaysia...we use this for make pillow. And also got a story behind this tree.. once upon a time they said...vampire like to stay in this tree...hehe...if u see it..u are so lucky...🤣

    YESSS! one of my favorite fruit to eat! i think when I ate it long ago we kinda peeled it and shoved it in an ants nest...the saltiness added to the flavour! I look for it everytime I come to Cambodia :'( when everytime I come...it's not in season!!!

    Thanks to YT , numerous unknown edibles have come to light. Hunger may have been unnecessary as in my case and that of other kids in my Philippine community. Although laziness of parents (mine) is a huge factor. A tree like this was right across the street of our house.

    Sreypov : try even younger fruit like half the time - slice salt - lemon eat with pork belly or fish - he left fruit to turn to cotton - rotten corn

    This is not fruit it's nylon cotton used to make pillows (more what all you all will eat God is blessed ur place with all fruits and vegetables eating all rubbesh)
