completely unrelated but nothing sparks more joy in me than seeing a pure, wholesome, girly sleepover complete with blankets and fortune tellers, even if its conducted by 1 grown woman and 3 grown men
Been rewatching old Jake and Amir videos for the past like week for the 5th or 6th time, really do love the type of comedy that you guys bring to the table, to say i was sad after the final episode is an understatement, and to say i was worried that things wouldnt be the same on Headgum worried me even more so. But you guys still nail the humour, and have found people that add to what you had. Just wanted to say thanks,, been a massive, massive fan since the collegehumour days, youre the channel that has without a doubt given me the most laughs, especially with the amount of times ive rewatched your older videos. So yea, thanks for the laughs, love what you guys do Love, one of your biggest fans
You've got to be the first self-proclaimed J&A fan I've seen to leave a comment that they feel the HG shorts are on par (or better than) the original J&A. I always figured, statistically, there must be SOMEONE who felt that way despite the comments I've read. So, ty for providing empirical evidence that they exist, lol.
@@weezact7 I feel the exact same and also have been rewatching J&A the past few weeks, been following them since the second ever Ace & Jocelyn and haven't looked back
@@JoshMarshain Oh. I didn't mean I agreed with Zed. I just meant that I hadn't heard someone voice that opinion before. I respect it, but I don't share it. I like the Headgum shorts, for sure, but I don't feel like they capture the same energy the J&A series did. To me it feels like a "tribute band" sort of situation. Like, I understand that Jake and Amir are involved in them (probably pretty heavily), but they feel like some J&A fans trying their best to make new J&A (but with different characters for legal reasons). I feel like Jake and Amir aren't as invested in this series as their original one and the other actors are hired, but not especially passionate about the gig. But that's just my take on it.
Ok, let me put it this way, to some extent yes, i feel like the old J&A was better, the characters themselves arent the same and i enjoyed the synergy that they had. BUt i was worried that this was just going to be a cash grab, and im relieved that i can still find enjoyment from their shorts, just in a different way than they used to. They still get giggles and laughs out of me, which is hard to say for a decent amount of youtube nowadays, but sure, old J&A would get hysterical laughs for sure.
weezact7 Been watching Jake and Amir since 2010, the content they produce with HeadGum is just as good. They got some great actors here who capture their style of comedy perfectly. It can’t be a tribute if the same exact guys are still making the content. I’m sure they write and supervise damn near everything for this channel as well so any complaint you have is 100% directed towards Jake and Amir themselves.
This is an interesting development on the dynamic, because honestly off days was basically just Jake and Amir where people took turns being Amir, but this dynamic is actually fresh, more like it please, because nobody will ever be a better Amir than the classic Amir
Marty “Gun Jumper” Gingivits spoiling literally any joy his parents could have by just being...happy? Like it sounds bad to say but his smile is infuriating
1. I love that for this to be true, Reilly would have had to write, "single dad through surrogate, swamp-front bungalow in Tampa, dead" as a viable option in her fortune teller. 2. Also note that Marty gives the same number and color that Amir did, yet his fortune is different. Which leads me to believe Reilly is playing fast and loose with her fortune reading. 3. I'd much rather have a swamp-front bungalow in Tampa than a Hollywood mansion. The people in Hollywood alone are enough to make you gag.
''citing Marty's overexcitements as the SOLE REASON.'' xD
I love that Amir and Marty both picked 3 Purple and got wildly different fortunes. That's the magic of the bish!
they should do an episode where between scenes it subtlety cuts between Marty and Jake. bet no one would notice
those that would notice would lose their shit 😂
that wasn't Jake?
They do that all the time.
Bungalow on the swamp front? How about bungaNO on the stomped blunt
Bad
oof not quite buddy
Swamp front living seems like the best place for Geoffrey to model his jants
He'll die before they take off, though.

My favorite part is how marty and amir said the same number and color
Leave it to Marty to tear at the fabric of a loving relationship. I thought that was Amir's hobbie
How is that a hobby? It's the opposite. A hobby is something enriching and that's just tearing at the fabric of a loving relationship.
The "sole reason" made me laugh so hard at the end LOL.
My favorite video in herstory
Last few vids have been better then the typical material I feel. Seems like they are getting a better feel for there group.

"Blue one, you idiot, blue one" 😂😂😂
The serious way Amir says "Jesus." at 1:47 will never not make me laugh.
I think "Fortune Teller" should be a series. XD
That guys parents are notoriously divorced.
Lmao i just saw your comment on the Thu-Nun-Nun video saying how much you loved that phrase
Marty's face at 1:55 holding back laughing is so funny
Bad fortune? Nah, bad you.
Honestly might be the best one yet. And last weeks was so good too. Herstory being made.
Surge dude i love those 'pick a number' things, im serious dude
I like that its implied Geoff should've known that Blue 1 would have given him a bad fortune
Right like everyone knows blue 1 is trash, what a dummy
This video made a smile of me
The energy they create is so impressive.
I have watched this like 40 times before realizing Amir and Marty pick the exact same color/number combination with different results. XD
Came to comment the same thing I’ve seen it like 5 times and never noticed
i'm blind!

HENRY HENRY HENRY
This is VERY good
Holy shit Amir's little "It'll happen" cracked me the fuck up
They're all trying to comfort Geoff and Amir is shooting straight. lol
Marty “Gun Jumper” Gingivits spoiling literally any joy his parents could have by just being...happy? Like it sounds bad to say but his smile is infuriating
You gotta give me some of that, soda
you never fail to make me crack up you guys. so unsurpringly, yet unexpectedly hilarious.
Best headgum skit I've seen yet, straight up brought me back to the golden era of CH
Great video guys, well made and hilarious! Every one of you is so talented and funny, and I think I especially like it when Marty is in the episodes!
Bungalow? That sounds like a place that’s FUN TO GO
Marty's excitement in this was golden.
Join Geoffrey in his swamp in the woods bungalow now that sounds like a place thats... fun to go
Geoff would love to have you!
@@superneko99 no he wouldn't

Aww they look so cosy 🥰 but Geoff looks so sad ☹️
What is that piano piece? It has me very very interested. Pls help!
The album they site is not accurate I checked every song.. lol
still waiting :(
Amir gives Geoffrey a look of scorn for picking 'blue one' before
Reilly even reads the fortune.
Great bit
If Geoffrey will be a single dad via surrogate that means he would never get a divorce.
So his kid is still luckier than Marty.
And he’s luckier than Marty’s parents because his son will never have to be Marty
This is amazing
Piano piece at the end?
d twooks I would also like to know
Me too
Thought Liam was gonna walk in and sweep Amir off his feet.
Why does Jake look so weird?
A twist on this sick vid makes the ladies go drip drip
Career?
*dead.*
This was a good one my dudes
A GREAT VIDEO FOR THIS GIDDY BRO!
Geoff's fortune didn't sound like a place that was fun-ta-go.
Swamp front muffin
I lost it at "Swamp front in Tampa"
First comment for this lil poppet makes the ladies less than despondent.
I ate out a parrot at a gala!
@Will Brenner with these shoes I could be the belle of the ball
A gala? I've never seen anyone invite you to lunch.
@@Ducks314 if you say that again I'll scratch your eyes out
Ya gotta give him that
JEFFREY with the SKX013, my choice of watch as well my friend
So Reilly, the only actual girl, doesn't get to go? I guess she already got her dream.... of being awesome.
Blue 1 and thats not really my kid was perfect
This was really funny guys!
Jake wasn't invited to this Lady's lunch?
DEEP pull
How about a bungalow that sounds like a place thats fun to go
I think about this sketch too often, I feel bad for Marty’s parents. They could’ve been happy together if not for him and his damned excitement
So Marty's parents are divorved...Again.
Bad fortune? Nah. Bad YOU.
That ending though
This sketch opens with Reily doing Amir hands.
All that info is in there?
Five, taupe. Betch.
Lol, you just said you can't trust these things!
Scuffed Jake is looking good in this episode
His parents are notoriously divorced.
We were having a nice little ladies lunch!
Has Jake retired?
Bungalow that's a place FUN TO GO! Ass
What is that piano piece???? It's definitely not from that album you put in the comments
You need to play MASH at the next girl’s night
Does Reilly's hoodie say "HARDPASS" ? where do i cop
It does. Found it at meganbatoon. $55 USD
@@aaronj.campbell3876 oh cool i didnt know it was headgum merch. appreciate it
...... Jesus
Just a classic girl’s night with the boys
Herstory...
"IF" I liked that video?! What do I do about LOVE?
Just realized they both picked purple 3, but got different results. How and why?
SWAMP FRONT
surge dude lets make a cootie catcher dude
Blue......HAH
did Jake write this one?
hey that's funny
Both Amir and Marty picked 3-Purple.
that’s the joke
"it's not really really my kid tho"
N O T O R I O U S L Y
Wkuk vibes 🤣🤣🤣
"Blue 1"? No.
It's like ghost stories all over again :'(

Marty, your parents are notoriously divorced.
Where's jake....?
Marty dabbing makes me wet my pants. He's by far the funniest HG cast member
Poor marty
and what happened to Geoff?? I need to know, how's his kid!??
Where's jake? He hasn't been around for a while.
The bitch moved to New York City or as i like to call it, New York SHITTY
They only used the ladies for this sketch.
That was actually kinda funny I like end credit
I miss Jake.
