    One thing that stood out for me about Mo Molemi is that, the concept of liberty is in our work. You can't eat if you don't work. This one is for the books guys. Real black consciousness for our generation!

    This is the best episode this year, I must say as a Non South African, MO Molemi is the first South African I have listened to and they didn't make anything or everything about race😮 you can also tell he is well informed about his game as he knows so much even about Botswana players in the Retail business 🎉

      That's a scary realization

    • @Yv1o5
      @Yv1o5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shadrackmashoene6228 A good realization. Agriculture is the backbone of the economy. We all need food. I hope many people would get into it and have vegetable supply stalls in your neighbour hoods. It will break dependency. People need to pull funds together and loan each other money because banks won’t do it. I am thoroughly impressed by solutions working on the continent like the micro finance industry in Kenya. It can be done. We need to create solutions to some of our problems. Let’s start with the remote fertile areas, buying land that’s relatively cheap, plant trees in the meantime.

    • @Yv1o5
      @Yv1o5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I did some training in pig farming and grew up farming. Requires dedication. Been in the U.S near the Amish and seen how they run their farms and citrus farms in Florida. Highly mechanized. In my Masters program I did a paper on John Deere, amazing technology out there but requires a lot of money. But we can start small- green house, plant avocados and export etc
      I wish people like him can have conferences and charge people and share this information.
      Farmers Weekly is a great resource to learn farming trends and information

    I like his purpose, I like how he sees the bigger picture. Also, I love how his thoughts and moves are not racially motivated. More of an acknowledgment and appreciation for Afrikaaners and how they have been the backbone of Agriculture, franchising and food supply for decades and how we need to think long term if we are to ensure food security. Wise, deep and motivating. Thank you for bringing him on.

    Go Diragalang by HHP was released back in 2001 and I was today old when I heard it for the first time on TH-cam. Such a deep song with a strong conscious message.

    What's been said (quietly) here is VALUE-CHAIN is important...
    [Instead of trying to be MacGs and Sols (all of us) we can be in other spaces within the "podcasting" industry]
    "TH-cam is the Retail store, Podcast & Chill is the Product, we are Consumers" (Basically)
    [My Short Story] I wanted to start a Maize Milling business, but I couldn't get Maize at reasonable prices for me to produce Mealie Meal that could be reasonably priced for my target consumers... So, I decided to start at producing Maize and my next goal was (before this episode) owning the retailers so that I have better access to consumers... 'SEE HOW MUCH WE NEED EACHOTHER ON EVERY SPACES

    Mojo Man! One of my all time favourites, not just because of the music but also his intelligence. My heart rested easy after finding out that he left the game in his own terms to venture into farming. If ever the youth needed a role model and celebrities to look up to, this is one of them.
