Update on DOTA: I gave the production company a call on the number they provided on their Facebook page and a secretary of theirs confirmed that they still have it on their archives. I asked them if they are willing to re-release it on streaming platforms as the trailer won't cut it when it's the whole movie we're after (and not a condensed montage of the films events), and she claimed that they had reservations over the age-appropriateness of some of the scenes hence why they were unable to show it on a public streaming platform. Unless they do finally greenlight a streaming release, I'll still consider it technically "lost" since we don't have it legally available yet.
I don't know if its lost or not but i remember an anti-smoking PSA from DOH circa 2015 which was aired in ABS-CBN and GMA where i first saw it. The PSA starts with 2 silhouettes smoking in a blue background where the VO explains what can a cigarette do to a human body. Then it flashes some images of different kinds of cancer, gangrene, emphysema, etc. The purpose of this PSA was to introduce health warnings on cigarette packs.

OMG Yes, I was hoping this channel would cover Tuko sa Madre Kakaw. It is truly a brief glimpse into what was our country's attempt at an atomic monster movie.
Potential Lost Media video suggestion: Can you tackle some of the well-known broadcasting related lost media, whether it's by PH TV or Radio newscasts? {The Philippine solar eclipse incident would fit perfectly here.}
This is the one area where I concede to the experts like SOFIA and others. It's highly unlikely I'm going to find lost movies on tapes... although historically it did happen (Bagong Hari was found from a betamax tape on a garage sale and is the only surviving copy to this date).
I've vaugely heard of the DOTA movie when it first came out. Those who ridiculed the film have a point about wondering whether this was made as a sincere social guidance flick or if it was a theatrical shitpost meant to cash in on both the game's popularity and those who criticise it for supposedly facilitating juvenile delinquency. Given the director's history of making similarly schlocky films I don't doubt the latter.
That San Lorenzo Ruiz movie, this could be a long shot now but why not try asking catholic schools of they have any copy...especially they have christian learning subjects. I studied from a catholic school and I still remember that sometimes teachers let us watch films relating to biblical stories or lives of saints. Baka naman.
I have studied in a Catholic school since I was in Kinder in the 90's. I don't remember if the school ever had a VHS of the movie to watch when I was in grade 1 - 6. The last movie that I remember that I watched in school was Jose Rizal (uncut version)

any news about "Da Punks" starring Lenie Santos and PJ Abellana? Why did a showbiz columnist considered it the most maligned movie due to miscasting yet he himself hasn't seen it? I dont know any 80s popculture enthusiast who has seen that movie. I havent seen posters and stills.

Dota nakakabaliw is lost media? I literally have that film on my folders along with korea and tokyo because i found this sketchy website that contained films from way back then to present.
Also, I have been searching this for years already. So around the 2010's (I do not know the specific year), me and my brother were watching Bubble Gang. It was a Friday and it was within the week of Halloween. I do not know if that was part of Bubble Gang itself but it showed a very creepy segment about as far as I remember, zombies. I was so terrified at that time, I quickly turned off the TV.
Can someone enlighten me about this please? So I saw a poster of Raymart Santiago's "Ang Tikbalang na May Pangarap." Is this movie/TV show real or is it just a satire poster? If this is real, where can I watch it?
pagkakaalam ko the media were too busy with the Kuratong Baleleng senate hearings against Panfilo Lacson, Rosebud stuff etc. I didnt know if there was a shift of media attention from there (9/11).
