Lego masterbuilders sometimes glue models together (Generally those that are hands on exhibits), they use acetone to do so, this is not glue but "solvent welding", the acetone melts the abs (the plastic that lego is made from) so the bond technically should be as strong as the plastic itself.

Make it a team race each team gets a kit and they have a time limit to build, game of skate to see who built the best first one to break or fall apart loses.
