I think it’s great you’ve decided to go back to school. I can understand the time involved being away from that discipline of studying. I decided to go back after starting the degree road over 30 years ago. So kudos and stay encouraged. I am 60+ and enjoy the learning. It’s a personal goal at this point. Stay well!! You got this!

It’s great you’re back in school! It’s awesome. I’d love to go to law school, but I’m much older than you. The fact is, going back now there s little hope I’d get hired. Who knows? Enjoy your studies!! Stay strong! You look great here! And sound strong and healthy.
Ageism sucks. Just because someone is older doesn't mean that they wouldn't be competent in a job. People need to be more accepting of people not less.
@nBasedAce I work in criminal law and my local prosecutors office has recently hired several attorneys who are well over 50, and not necessarily very experienced. Attitudes toward older workers who are making a career shift are changing. Older employees are more and more being viewed as an asset for their work ethic and life experience, and are also a component of a diverse work force. Don’t limit yourself. You can alway start with a paralegal studies certificate, (paralegal is a good job, and there are a lot of temp job available) and then use that to get you into a good law program. You can do it!
