Jeff had a lot of fun with Deadpool and got to sit in the lap of Emma Frost, Elsa Bloodstone etc. Currently I think he has moved to live with Kate Bishop/Hawkeye II(she used to be on a team with Gwenpool) and has his own digital comic by Gwenpool’s artist where he has different adventures across the Marvel universe.

Copycat, aka Vanessa Carlysle, is a mutant that can copy a person's appearance and powers, and is an old love of Deadpool's. In the Deadpool movies, she is his fiancée and doesn't exhibit any powers. 5. Bob is a HYDRA agent that Deadpool is friends with. He is referenced in the Deadpool movie via a goon that Deadpool recognises and spares.

Fun fact: Copycat is not Mystique’s daughter but there are actually 2 kids of Mystique in the game already! Rogue is of course her adopted daughter but Nightcrawler is also her son, given birth by Destiny(who is not a card yet but is the best "can see the future" teller in the comics and Mystique’s wife).
Destiny as a card would be broken. Like Daredevil or Kang but it just resets the game back to turn one, same starting hand and deck order. (Or would that be Moira McTaggart?)

You don't really want to play Shaw after her on turn 5, neither Brood, maybe Panther but then Zola will steal some buff and you also can't fit Wong... Cassandra - she is 3/18 on Arishem release week. Past that, she seems like worse Scorpion, especially if you draw her on later turns. Ajax - He has anti synergy with Luke Cage, it will be interesting if Affliction deck exists without Luke. Bob - Martyr almost never moves and still people didn't find place for her. Sage - She has been re-datamined as 3/0, and I think she is real card. Play 3 small things with her, opponent will have 2 or 3 cards there too: 8-10 power for 3 mana.

Very fun character
If im gonna be honest, regis' videos are the only datamine card review videos that i actually watch enthusiastically from start to end. With other youtubers like cozy or drewberry i kinda just skim through. I think its because Regis gives really indepth and good commentary and analysis with the new cards that i dont really see in other TH-camrs
Very excited to play Cassandra Nova against an Arishem deck, assuming his ability of "congrats you now have a 24 card deck" sticks through release. A 3/19 card sounds pretty gnarly, especially on Kamar Taj where she becomes a 3/37. Also feel like they must be getting ready to nerf Luke Cage again because he straight up negates Ajax here, and takes the damage out of Cassandra's ability too. He's already entirely countering last seasons USAgent and Red Guardian, it would be lame to have him hut two more cards in back to back seasons.
It's looking like Luke Cage is gonna be a staple in the future. T2: Ravonna T3: Cassandra Nova + Grand Master is -2 to their whole deck and +12 assuming every card can be drained. Even if you don't draw the combo, there's gonna be some nasty debuff synergy floating around, especially with Ajax. Ajax appears to pave the way for Darkhawk's return to 4 energy. I really hope CopyCat lets me know when she's drawn, even if she doesn't tell what card she's stolen. My Tribunal deck draws every card, gonna feel terrible drawing a vanilla Tribunal/Onslaught on Turn 7 that I couldn't have known about. Free cubes for my opponent.

my first thought with Gwenpool is dropping Grandmaster on her turn 5 with a Black Swan, to make it really difficult for an opponent to assess power output on turn 6. maybe a bit magical christmas land but it’s not often a card gives me an idea for a whole new deck by itself. could also her in a patriot or ongoing shell (iron man and professor x both get scary with power boosts v quick).. i do hope they keep her at 4 energy bc she would be so obnoxious in bounce
Gwenpool would fit nice in a destroy desk where she can add power to Nimrod giving him 14 power and if you destroy him he can spread even more and lets not forget he cant be shung chi because that would only make it worse.
I like the potential of a low cost gwenpool deck. Maybe Grandmaster can finally be relevant? Love the curve of Zabu > Gwenpool > Grandmaster, and then having two turns to get all that extra power onto the board.

This is why Regis is the greatest. I’ve watched other videos last night revealing these cards and they are like “meh”. Regis, always upbeat, takes the time to think cards through.
With Ajax, even if you afflict your stuff with hazmat, and have Luke cage, the cards are still AFFLICTED, (shown when you see the card status)… so he will still get the buff, while not displaying the debuff from your cards point-wise 🤯
For Cassandra Nova I think “drain” is flavor for inflict. I don’t think she’ll be absorbing the opponents power from their deck. That would make it well above stat line for 3-cost.
I had an idea for a new card!!!!! What if they add explodey boy from Earth 616 to be able to combat cards like Cable or Baron Zemo to where if that card is stolen from your deck it blows up half is not all the others guy's deck? It sounded like a cool card concept, but I think it would cost 5 and have a power of 4 or 3.

There is no way Copycats stealing text is not revealed to the oponent right away, it has to be. They could draw that card or summon it into play and if they would not see copycats effect beforehand, they would be so confused why their card is not working, everybody would be reporting bugs and quiting the games.

The way I read Ajax's ability, it wouldn't scale the more cards get hit with negative power, right? So he gets +1 for each card hit by Hazmat, but Cylclops continually hitting cards still just gets Ajax +1 if it's a new card afflicted with negative.

Love that Cassandra Nova is a DarkHawk card/Arishem and Thanos hunter. A bit sad to see another text removal card like Red Guardian will be coming and worse still it can't be blocked
Yeah but it hits the bottom of the deck. Of course people will be shuffling rocks in so you could draw them but I don't think its as bad as like Mill decks
Aside from the name, which actually comes from her real name being Gwendolyne Poole, Gwenpool actually has nothing to do with Deadpool which makes her being the season pass card in a Deadpool season very strange indeed!
my first thought with Gwenpool is dropping Grandmaster on her turn 5 with a Black Swan, to make it really difficult for an opponent to assess power output on turn 6. maybe a bit magical christmas land but it’s not often a card gives me an idea for a whole new deck by itself. could also her in a patriot or ongoing shell (iron man and professor x both get scary with power boosts v quick)..
i do hope they keep her at 4 energy bc she would be so obnoxious in bounce
I'm excited about Copycat. I like gaining info while potentially disrupting the opponent.
Gwenpool would fit nice in a destroy desk where she can add power to Nimrod giving him 14 power and if you destroy him he can spread even more and lets not forget he cant be shung chi because that would only make it worse.
I like the potential of a low cost gwenpool deck. Maybe Grandmaster can finally be relevant? Love the curve of Zabu > Gwenpool > Grandmaster, and then having two turns to get all that extra power onto the board.
Zemo decks removes a lot of your cards so it would suck that if you pull your last card but Copycat already remove the text... 😢

Ah. I see. These are all characters from the Deadpool movies/mythos. Copycat is supposed to be Morena Baccarin's character, Hydra Bob and Ajax are from Deadpool 1 and Cassandra Nova is the new villain in Deadpool and Wolverine and is Xavier's "sister". Gwenpool is... well... Gwenpool.
Don't be surprised if we get more Deadpool and Wolverine variants next month too.
Yeah I love these cards, but with this supposedly dropping the same month as the movie, I’m hoping I didn’t spoil myself on some cameos I wasn’t expecting

With Ajax, even if you afflict your stuff with hazmat, and have Luke cage, the cards are still AFFLICTED, (shown when you see the card status)… so he will still get the buff, while not displaying the debuff from your cards point-wise 🤯

For Cassandra Nova I think “drain” is flavor for inflict. I don’t think she’ll be absorbing the opponents power from their deck. That would make it well above stat line for 3-cost.
I think the card would be absolutely unplayable without drain giving her power

What if they add explodey boy from Earth 616 to be able to combat cards like Cable or Baron Zemo to where if that card is stolen from your deck it blows up half is not all the others guy's deck? It sounded like a cool card concept, but I think it would cost 5 and have a power of 4 or 3.
Cassandra Nova is the big bad in the new deadpool and wolverine movie which should be releasing around the time these cards are out, she's the evil twin sister of professor x, sort of also is professor x (psychic power weirdness) and he killed her in the womb because he sensed she was evil, she managed to escape by transferring her conciousness to another body

There is no way Copycats stealing text is not revealed to the oponent right away, it has to be. They could draw that card or summon it into play and if they would not see copycats effect beforehand, they would be so confused why their card is not working, everybody would be reporting bugs and quiting the games.
Copycat might be good in a mill deck like destroying their deck and removing the text from whatever's left in there

ajax with typhoid and cassandra would be good and casandra would be good in negative being a good 1 3 with hawks and i ron mans and revonaa having explosive turns

The way I read Ajax's ability, it wouldn't scale the more cards get hit with negative power, right? So he gets +1 for each card hit by Hazmat, but Cylclops continually hitting cards still just gets Ajax +1 if it's a new card afflicted with negative.

If Gwenpool shows the cards its buffing to the opponent then it basically reveals the whole hand most of the time
