I actually find every little exposed part of your video scary as hell and have always admired Tobias and yourself for doing this. I will stick to the easy 4000m normal routes. Thanks for showing this. Very nice video.

Congrats on the whole project! As you were on the Lenzspitze - Nadelhorn traverse, me and my girlfriend were going up on the "baby" 4000er Weissmies. Great motivation seeing your posts from the other side of the valley.

Stopping at 9:50 I think it's worth listening to yourself. If the project for the sake of the project makes you accept a risk that you wouldn't take without the project, then something is wrong.
I reason with your (project) goal but if it starts introducing a bias to your own personal risk assessment ...? It's the wrong answer to state "I am still here everything went well" in contrast it could/should have let to a conclusion that "taking the risk" was a mistake and there is a learning to take.
This little assessment just from listening to what you said, which obviously does not let me assess the actual risk.
Bias, introduced by what ever means ever, can be deadly in the worst case

I get your point, but that’s how things run when doing stuff like this. I don’t know if you followed Roger Schälis north 6 project where he was kind of in a similar situation. Conditions on the dry weren’t inviting at all but as part of his goal, they still started the climb. At the dent d’Herens I had not a particular dangerous moment, but what I wanted to express is, that it will require sometimes to climb mountains in bad conditions instead of waiting for good ones. This means that you will need more skills to climb safely even in worse conditions. Those kind of projects always involve more risk then going for a single mountain without any time pressure. I hope I could transport what I mean.
      Regards
      Maximilian

@@MaximilianGierl I reason with your comment and I understand that we take risks when mountaineering under imperfect conditions. It happens...!
My comment was plainly on the way you expressed yourself in the video, which made me feel alerted.

Another great watch, exciting content! To those who don't know, just because you fall doesn't mean you die. Multiple things have to go wrong for that to typically happen, including a total failure to self-arrest, be that by axe, arms, legs, whatever. Mountaineering will always come with risks, just like skydiving. Max, time for some "a day in the life vlogs"? Cheers from the US!

    Hallo Max,
Feier deine Videos echt sehr!
