I'm speechless. I hold Steins;Gate's OP in the highest regard and legit never thought any cover stood up or would ever stand up to it, but this is an absolute masterpiece. Satisfying musically, consistent lyrically, and your voice is pure bliss. 10 out of 10.

Like many others were, I was impressed with how the English dub was very professionally "translated" to make character motivations (and thus the story) more accessible to a wider, otherwise unfamiliar audience. As much as I like the other EN covers of "Hacking" I've found, the lyrics in this one have more of that dub quality about it, trading "appeal to Anglophone audience" for "identical meaning". I've read that Kanako Itou brought to this song a distinctive style and accent, I wonder if this is what it would sound like if someone substituted her vocal style in Japanese cultural/musical context with an "equivalent" Western one?
I swear every single English cover of this song have completely different lyrics, yet all fall along similar vibes. Still I legit think these lyrics fit the actual contents of the show so well! For some reason parts of it remind me of the Subtext in the Shows logo too. Overall amazing cover however :D I greatly enjoyed your adaptation of the song!

It's why dubs get a bad rep even if they're good because "purist *coughelitistcough* " think it's only right if it's exactly what was said in Japanese. But if you did that it would sound highly unnatural in English so most of the covers have probably interpreted the lyrics to the closest approximation that they feel fits while retaining the same melody.
Very interesting choices for the lyrics. I've listened to a bunch of English covers of this song by now, but this one feels more like an "inspired by" than "translated" song. Great work !
Your voice is always so amazing, but the lyrics really set your covers apart from other people making content like this. They always flow so well, no sense of rushing or slowing down clunkily to fit the words with the beat. And your voice is so dynamic, carrying so much emotion in every word! It's honestly criminal that you're not racking up 100k views on average per video. At first I thought this was gonna just be another cover but those lyrics blew me away. While I do still think I prefer the original version of the song, this is the closest an English cover of this has ever come to outright replacing the original in my eyes. Bravo.
