    The Noodle Exchange has got to go. Glad to know your broth had some sort of flavor. We were not so fortunate.

      It's so true! We love a good noodle and broth but not in the middle of summer or if they are just mediocre. That's a bummer yours was so bland. 😢

    I adore Food and Wine, but this is just too early to start it. It's not fun in 100+ heat. But loved following along with you. Definitely have my eye on the tostada, tacos, impossible burger and yuca fries. Happy anniversary to your friends. Sarah -- LOVE your Maelstrom shirt!!

      July & August definitely feel very early and too hot for Food & Wine! We had a great time with friends, but that heat index was awful. 🥵 Hope you get to enjoy it when it's a little bit cooler! RIP Maelstrom -- we got the shirt on Tee Public! 😍

    Are you met with any resistance when you tell cast members about your allergies? Are they helpful?

    • @glutenfreedairyfreedisney
      @glutenfreedairyfreedisney  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      For the most part, we don't get a lot of resistance. Disney is so special diets friendly, and the CMs at the registers are usually pretty helpful and know that they need to radio a chef. Perhaps the only time it's "challenging" is when the kiosks are really busy. We typically see more frustration from other guests when a booth is really busy. They might not understand why we're radioing a chef and causing the line to be backed up a bit more. That's one reason we go to the festivals during less busy times (often when they first open or in the mid/late afternoon before dinner rush), so it's not a frustrating experience for anyone. Hope that helps! 😊

    Thank you for doing this! The new allergy menus are awesome! Can you share how they handle cross contamination in the booths? For example, if I am allergic to peanuts and they have peanuts in the booth, how do they handle that? Is everything prepped in one big kitchen?

      You're welcome! We can cover more of this in our next F&W video, but that's a good question. Most of the dishes are pre-prepped in the catering kitchens at Epcot and the ingredients brought to the small kiosks to be put together easily. When you go to a booth and tell them you have an allergy, you can request that they change gloves, etc. On our recent visit, the CM changed gloves and prepared dishes on the side, especially the ones that required modification. Because it is a small space, you'll definitely want to use your judgement if you feel comfortable eating at a booth with peanuts. We always recommend erring on the side of caution if you do not feel comfortable, especially as protocols are different than the restaurants. I hope that helps a bit! 💜

    Will they let you know if there’s MSG in the food?
