  • Sunday 30th June saw 5043 ‘Earl Of Mount Edgcumbe’ on Shakespeare Express duties for Vintage Trains. This time it started the day at Worcester Shrub Hill to Stratford Upon Avon. The Castle stopped for a pick up at Droitwich in a rare stop at my home town station before heading up the Lickey. The drone shot was sun side, which you’ll see in the clip was never going to happen. But it’s a shot I wanted to do, especially with the semaphore signals still in place around the station, not to mention the Signalbox. The return move I never did as watching England was called for, almost a decision I almost regret.

Earl of Mount Edgcumbe is more exciting to watch than football, in my book.

As if we're still stuck in the 1950s.
