How to cast the Tuscany concrete column using the History stones column molds, casting column base and crown, column mid segment,and futed column segment.
I built concrete septic tanks over 30-40 of them. Always used a concrete vibrator on the walls that were about 3" thick and never had a problem with the agregate settling. You want to vibrate it to fill the voids.
too bad these molds are way too expensive for what you get. 109$ for the mold frame 32.57$ for the fluted insert. I purchased just the fluted insert ( which is a thin plastic role) and got an over inflated shipping and handling charge. Tried to talk with these people and the overall feeling I got was there was something disreputable or not straight forward about the whole outfit. Hope you have a better experience. For the mold frame I used a sheet of copper 16" by 34" and duct taped it together. Worked fine and was way less expensive.
I feel stupid after reading this. I've been trying to find an alternative for casting hollow columns such that the insert doesn't open up and spill at the bottom. Thanks!
Because he's trying to strengthen the inside of the cylinder so it does not collapse under the increased pressure of the concrete when it's completely filled. A hollow piece with an end cap may not suffice.

Column-Tuscany Mold Crown & Base Quantity 1 4.-13 Piece Professional Railing Concrete Mold Set number 1 September 13 pieces but does not leave me the option of my country (Chile), I could indicate the shipping cost, but rather how much is the total including shipping and TIMP it takes to arrive once canselado, I'm a translator google apologize if not well understood, I'm going to build a cottage for my 16 year old and she wants that, thanks beforehand
Hi I want to know what is the weight of these Tuscany column base molds. And are there different shape molds.The one on video is too simple one and looks too bulky. I need more slimmer one for either side of windows.Also where can get these molds get casted as per ones requirement.Also I need Flutters with more gaps in between.It would be nice if you can also show how to a place reinforcements to make columns as load bearing onel.pl do reply. Instead of stuffing t-shirts and newspapers in the tube why don't you get an end cap - for the PVC pipe?

Why don't you get a power sander without sandpaper and use it to vibrate your concrete. Don't over vibrate, or the aggregate will settle too much.
