Thank you once again to Nephi for reacting to my tagalog song cover and this is the third time you react with your sincere reaction. 🙌🏼🙌🏼 you are amazing. I love Filipino and i love all their artist. Stay safe Nephi❤️.
I can't agree more with Nephi, you are not only pronouncing like filipino but also sound like us, let alone the sweetness of your voice. Beautiful rendition; you deserve a place in the music industry. I am happy to learn that you are not prohibited to indulge in music unlike those muslim countries like Iran or Afghanistan wherein music is a taboo. Speaking of Afghanistan, I am so sad that women there could no longer pursue their dreams in life.
I would have mistaken her as Filipino if I didn't know she's Malaysian. Her pronunciation and accent is spot-on. Great singer. Love her interpretation of this song.
Where I grew up in Sabah, quite a number of people are of mixed parentage - Malaysian Filipino and on television in the late 90s it is quite common to see Tagalog telenovela on TV - Mula sa Puso, walay walang nang wakas, sa sandaling kailangan mo ako - those are what I remembered - these experiences also make it easy to pronounce Tagalog words
It's easy for Sabahan to sing the filipino songs with a good pronunciation because of the accents (most of the races in Sabah) almost similar to filipino accents. Sometimes peoples outside of Sabah thought that we speak in filipino when we speak in our native languages such as Kadazandusun, Murut, Bajau etc.
I proud of you ms eylia, im a filipino, im here in manila philippines, but i was born in kuala lumpor malaysia, and a one of my favorite song malaysian songs..
I am from philippines she is so good. she looks like a filipino too.... i agree with you sir her pronunciation is like real filipino too... keep up the good work.
She has very good dynamics, especially in the first verse of the song. And her vibratos are to die for, ughhhh. Sana all, miss Eyliaaaa. Love from Philippines
Nephi honey get hold of yourself. We're all impressed this girl nailed it in the delivery of the song to such extent that we can mistake her for being one of us. She obviously did her research and practiced a lot. No big deal. You're reactions are precious though. Love love love this channel.
parang Pilipino sya. from listening to her singing you would not think she is a malaysian. shes good! i like her i will definitely subscribe in her channel.
Yay...i knw what i think sabahan quite easy when comes learning and pronouncing other languages.. ya malaysian love outside sinetron drama series karelesyon hahaha... And i my self can speak abit tagalog.. we learn from jericho rosales n christine hermosa hhhaha... Gusto ko ikau malaman hinde ako pinoy pero pwede ako magusap magsalita kahit kunti lang..kadazan dusun ako masama kay elyia.
Sign her up Nephi! She'll be a superstar in the Philippines... INSHA'ALLAH! Manage her. Guide her. About time for you to have great singers under your wings dude! ☺️
Hi Nephi...I just like to share with you that we're the closest Malaysian state to The Philippines, and lots of similarities in the Malay and Tagalog language. You may not know it, but our languages in Sabah have more in common. For e.g. in Dusun...manuk(chicken), tasu(dog), sawo(spouse), bobog(beat), and the numbers are almost the same. Either geographical proximity or some other reasons. There're a lot more words which I can't remember offhand...and yes, I used to be a hardcore viewer of Tagalog movies. And having Filipino friends help in picking up the language. So I guess that explains in part, why Eylia, can quite easily sing the Tagalog song. If you visit Sabah, you maybe able to understand what I'm saying. Also our Malay is different from the Malay spoken in West Malaysia...closer to Indonesian Malay.
If it was not mentioned in the the title of the video that she’s Malaysian, I would not have known. Did not detect a different accent. Good job and pretty as well.
FYI nephi, we Sabahan from Malaysia hv many culture, many races here in Sabah. There's a lot of filipino here in Sabah working here. So, lots of us here know a bit of tagalog languages. And some Sabahan fluently can speak in tagalog bcoz mostly hv become friends
malalaman mo kung foreigner ang kumakanta ng tagalog kung ang pronunciation nila sa word na (ko, ikaw, kulang and etc) medio may twang, pero sa kanya kuhangkuha niya. Galing nya.
Thank you once again to Nephi for reacting to my tagalog song cover and this is the third time you react with your sincere reaction. 🙌🏼🙌🏼 you are amazing. I love Filipino and i love all their artist. Stay safe Nephi❤️.
