I don't have any sorts of problems using Edge with the IE Mode enabled. There is a way to add the "Reload Tab in IE mode" as a button next to your profile Icon so it's always there rather than rooting through a menu. I generally tend to set my NVR IP address to the same one depending on the gateway so if you make it remember, most of the time it will open in IE mode anyway.
Some firmware type won't work even i already do tricks in w10 and 11, so i have to run virtualbox and w7 to run all plugin version. Ps. HIKVision ND tech support already try with remote my laptop but no clue
Comes up as ip(address) is not responding and offers recover webpage. This is a big deal and it seems hikvision is so poor even trying to sort the issue....should have been done well before edge came out.
Microsoft have made this procedure a time limited option to open in IE Mode. By default it lasts for 30 days before prompting to ‘re add the site to the reload in IE mode list’ They’re moving towards removing IE mode completely. HikVision are no longer supporting the IVMS program. That leaves HikConnect? In a Domain Situation Microsoft have provided the ability to use the Enterprise Sites List to allow IE sites - without the time limit.
IVMS is still supported, its just the dedicated access control and CCTV versions that are EOL , the main all in one is still supported, thanks for the info on IE also, it may prove valuable for domain users
@@DVSLTDI have 20 customers that bought this HIK system from a company that's now out of business. Are these cameras still usable? What happened with HIK meaning are they designing a new software browser plugin or did they go out of business?
All this instead of holding Hikvision's feet to the fire for not keeping their protocols up to date. NVR live view must work natively with Chrome and Firefox. Period. Anyway, thanks.
Ok I am trying to use a old DVR that use Explorer. But when I use edge in the explorer mode when enter 192.168.x.x:xx I get a blank light blue screen. 2. If I go htpp://192.168.x.x:xx " Can’t connect securely to this page This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner." 3. If I run 192.168.x.x:xx I am prompted to load 1 "please click icon to upgrade WebkitPlugin" which I done multiple times. What does this mean can you folks help. Obviously this works with my old computer/ explorer system.

Why wouldnt hikvision make thier products compatible with standard web browsers?

Will this continue to work after June 15 2022 when Microsoft drops IE from Windows 10? Like Matt said this should have been sorted years ago/
I can only report on what we can do now sadly , I believe we can still do this moving forward also via Edge , so hopefully yes.

They're working on it now , the HTHI version can support 12FPS , which is the average now to be honest 😊
