She was not picked on Russia kids Voice. Watch her at 14yo yodeling. There was almost a scandal because no one picked her. Song choice was the main reason. I believe she sang it in German & English. Then do "Human" if you want to her lower register. As she was going on 18 she did a cover"her version of "Take on Me"(shows she is getting a higher range) also did "Havana" (In her room having fun). Singing Aribic "Helwa Ya Baladi" it's all good. You don't have to speak Russian or another language to enjoy.

It was a joy watching you guys and girl listening and analyzing Diana. She was 15 y.o. In this performance. This is a show designed to highlight and support youngsters who are/were without parental care/orphans. Diana is 18 y o now, but there she was 15. Next is Rechenka (mandatory) at 14 y o. After Rechenka you can keep going with Human and a lot of other performances. I'm so happy you found this unique talented girl! She was 14, they made a show for kids with tormented background, and they make funny, beautiful performances. Then Diana enters, with voice of an Earth goddess. And since the crew was highly professional they did excellent job giving her the opportunity to shine. She took it, won that season (season 2), and the season 3 (super season where the best returned) at age of 15. As a nurse I find it funny that nobody has considered she has some sort of vocal cord or laryngeal deformity (genetic alteration) specific only to her and then add an extreme talent and vocal ability and you have this once in a life time voice. She is a dramatic contralto, extremely rare in females. That's where the deep rich tone she has. She is polyphonic producing multiple harmonics with her voice at the same time. Everyone thinks she uses electronic Auto-Tune when actually she is one by herself. She doesn't need the electronic ones. Her larynx is special as well. She is shamanistic in her singing and the tone resonates right through your bones and goosebumps galore. She also sings "Human" that is off the charts.

She's a contralto with an impressive tessitura but a big part of her unique sound is polyphonic overtone singing and yodeling technique. She's an expert yodeler with an incredibly low break and she knows how to lean on it. Particular vowels will give you the sound that is uniquely Diana (the kind you can hear anywhere and know that's her voice). Presumably because it's easier to get enough resonance to bounce the sound off her soft palate to generate those overtones. I suspect she has unusual anatomy there. I can only wager this guess because I have an abnormally high arch in my palate and it creates a ton of natural resonance in my speaking voice. Her speaking voice is almost "booming" with resonance and deep rich tone. There are full length performances of her not in the context of that singing competition. I can help you out on finding them. You'll also have less issues with copyright strikes. The ones I haven't been able to find is her interpretation of Lara Fabian's "Tomorrow is a Lie" with Igor on piano and Rag'N'Bone Man's Human. The others; Rechenka, Derniere Danse, Blizzard, and Maybe I, Maybe You (Scorpions) can be found in both small lounge bar type venues and solo performances. Diana was abused as a child and was thrown into the street with a broken arm by her mother. After being taken to an orphanage, she was adopted by the orphanage cook. She was unable to talk very well, so her adoptive mother hired a vocal coach to help her speak by learning tp sing. At age ten she performed -very well- on the Voice kids addition in Russia but didn’t get a chair turn. She learned as a kid to yodel. At 14 she was on You Are Super, which is for underprivileged kids and won performing Rechenka, which many consider a world class performance. At 15, they had her back on the show performing Wicked Game, and won again. She also performed Human at 15. She is a true contralto and you can detect the start of her deep voice when she was ten during the Voice performance.
Diana is impossibly talented! I grew up in the 1960s. I've heard hundreds of world-class musical artists over the decades. I haven't been this amazed by a musical artist since I first heard Jimi Hendrix back in 1967. Nina Simone shook my soul. Janis Joplin shook my soul. Jimi Hendrix shook my soul. Diana shakes my soul!
In my own, private musical experience Diana has dethroned Whitney Houston. Not because I think she is a better singer, not at all. Whitney is still The Voice, with more skill, a greater range and all things wonderful. But Diana's voice is just out of this world; it takes me to places I never visited before; it's like dark chocolate served in a different universe. She speaks to the soul, grabs your heart and doesn't let go. That is a gift not many artists are blessed with.

She was 15, not 18. For a more mature 18-year-old watch her do Elvis I Can't Help Falling in Love. To hear her at 14, watch Rechenka {The River}. She is a true polyphonic dramatic contralto with tremendous range and control, the deepest and darkest female voice. She is most comfortable singing in her lower range. If she chose to go in that direction, she would headline in any opera house in the world.
Great reaction all. As the performance is off "You Are Super", you might well have had problems with copyright blocking sadly. However, as you appear to wish to hear Diana again, you need to listen to "Вьюга" (Blizzard) & "Реченька" (Rechenka or My Sweet River) from the same show, which in my opinion, are both better than "Wicked Game". Others have mentioned it, but, it needs emphasis that Diana is now 18. When she performed on "You Are Super" in 2018 & 2019 she was 14 & 15 respectively. It also might be instructive to go to Diana's own TH-cam channel, where there are many studio and live tracks, including several original songs.

I'm so happy you found this unique talented girl! She was 14, they made a show for kids with tormented background, and they make funny, beautiful performances.
Then Diana enters, with voice of an Earth goddess. And since the crew was highly professional they did excellent job giving her the opportunity to shine. She took it,
won that season (season 2), and the season 3 (super season where the best returned) at age of 15.
There are many many songs by her and they all amaze me do to his unique voice and style, but in my opinion only the TV show and it's concert
gave her the professional enviroment to really shine, including background, stage director, sound engineers for audio quality, etc.

As a nurse I find it funny that nobody has considered she has some sort of vocal cord or laryngeal deformity (genetic alteration) specific only to her and then add an extreme talent and vocal ability and you have this once in a life time voice. Particular vowels will give you the sound that is uniquely Diana (the kind you can hear anywhere and know that's her voice). Presumably because it's easier to get enough resonance to bounce the sound off her soft palate to generate those overtones. I suspect she has unusual anatomy there. I can only wager this guess because I have an abnormally high arch in my palate and it creates a ton of natural resonance in my speaking voice. Her speaking voice is almost "booming" with resonance and deep rich tone.
There are full length performances of her not in the context of that singing competition. I can help you out on finding them. You'll also have less issues with copyright strikes. The ones I haven't been able to find is her interpretation of Lara Fabian's "Tomorrow is a Lie" with Igor on piano and Rag'N'Bone Man's Human. The others; Rechenka, Derniere Danse, Blizzard, and Maybe I, Maybe You (Scorpions) can be found in both small lounge bar type venues and solo performances. She also has a stripped back cover of Take on Me that she recorded in her apartment during their lockdowns. The small lounge bar type venues are interesting because there's less of the TV production in the audio, although there can be an echo.

Couldn't find non-competition versions of these in their final form. Diana was abused as a child and was thrown into the street with a broken arm by her mother. After being taken to an orphanage, she was adopted by the orphanage cook. She was unable to talk very well, so her adoptive mother hired a vocal coach to help her speak by learning tp sing. At age ten she performed -very well- on the Voice kids addition in Russia but didn’t get a chair turn. She learned as a kid to yodel. At 14 she was on You Are Super, which is for underprivileged kids and won performing Rechenka, which many consider a world class performance. At 15, they had her back on the show performing Wicked Game, and won again. She also performed Human at 15. She is a true contralto and you can detect the start of her deep voice when she was ten during the Voice performance.

I haven't been this amazed by a musical artist since I first heard Jimi Hendrix back in 1967. Nina Simone shook my soul. Janis Joplin shook my soul. Jimi Hendrix shook my soul. Diana shakes my soul!
In my own, private musical experience Diana has dethroned Whitney Houston. Not because I think she is a better singer, not at all. Whitney is still The Voice, with more skill, a greater range and all things wonderful. But Diana's voice is just out of this world; it takes me to places I never visited before; it's like dark chocolate served in a different universe. She speaks to the soul, grabs your heart and doesn't let go. That is a gift not many artists are blessed with.

She is a true polyphonic dramatic contralto with tremendous range and control, the deepest and darkest female voice. She is most comfortable singing in her lower range. If she chose to go in that direction, she would headline in any opera house in the world.

Great reaction all. As the performance is off "You Are Super", you might well have had problems with copyright blocking sadly. However, as you appear to wish to hear Diana again, you need to listen to "Вьюга" (Blizzard) & "Реченька" (Rechenka or My Sweet River) from the same show, which in my opinion, are both better than "Wicked Game". Others have mentioned it, but, it needs emphasis that Diana is now 18. When she performed on "You Are Super" in 2018 & 2019 she was 14 & 15 respectively.
It also might be instructive to go to Diana's own TH-cam channel, where there are many studio and live tracks, including several original songs.

No , not 18yo - This is 15 YEARS OLD Diana singing in an amazing Russian project "You are Super" for abandoned/disadvantaged children because Diana spent some years in an orphanage when she was 3yo. She is a natural dramatic contralto (VERY deep!) which is rare in females but exceptionally rare in someone so young! Diana was born way over in the far eastern side of Russia in Primorsky Territory, northeast of Vladivostok. Her adoptive family moved to Togliatti, in western Russia near the Volga River then after Igor Krutoy (a famous (DIMASH?) composer/producer) gifted Diana an apartment in Moscow she moved there and still lives there! It makes it easier for her to study at GITIS International, the largest and oldest theatrical State Institution in Russia. She has an extensive entry in Wikipedia now which explains her sad early childhood. She is a rare contralto that has polyphonic sound when she sings and you would have to see “Yodel Time” and then it will click how she can change the tone of her voice so easy. Before the Yodel Time song which was performed on the Russian version of the Voice for children. She had won 40-50 national and international competitions before she tried either show. Also sure your going to receive lots of suggestions for Rechenka, a traditional Russian folk wedding song performed the year before on the same show at 14 years old. So if you speak French then try her version of Dernier Danse by Indila. This should help you more with her vocale abilities and introduce herself as a top notch artist as well.
