I woke up with an extremely sharp pain near the navel and went to the ER. I had acute appendicitis, even though my pain never travelled to the right side. I had nausea/some vomiting. The doctors recommended I get the surgery to avoid any future attacks. 5 days post-op and I’m feeling okay 😊

Mam! I am 25 years old and had a CT scan for suspected appendicitis but everything came out normal. But now I’m scared of the radiation and potential cancer risk in future. Am I vulnerable to cancer in future due to CT scan?
