I miss my 1971 C/10 with the long bed 2wd , With the 350/ engine , & the 350/trans what a truck ! But nothing last forever , Still driving Chevrolet trucks though 1999 C/3500 dually , & a 2003 Silverado 4x4 both are reliable & dependable .
My first work van at my previous employer was a 1974 Chevy van in doo doo brown. This was in 2012. That thing was a piece of junk but it did get me to the jobsite and back home again.
I had two different 1975 Chevy vans. What great vehicles! Why on Earth GM went from this great platform to a body on frame design from that great unibody lost on me.
I have an 84 one ton. I know they move the battery over later on in those vans and it's definitely not easy to service like this one is.think it's funny when the van gets introduced it starts playing more banjo
CHEVY # 1! I Started with a CHEVY (A 1976 Monte Carlo Landau SPORT Coupe with A 350 V8), and I will End with a CHEVY WHEN I Pass Away! I own My 7th CHEVY NOW, A 2015 CHEVY Camaro 2LS 3.6 Litre V6 that has 323 Horsepower and Performs like a V8 Muscle Car! All My Cars have been Chevrolets so far and They are the best looking and performing Vehicles on the road, Bar None! I Would rather walk than drive ANYTHING ELSE, PERIOD! 😍😎😊👍👌🤘✌
Con los Chevy trucks actuales no podrías hacer ni la mitad de eso , que te pasó Chevrolet ? Ántes hacías vehículos de calidad , herramientas de trabajo .
Had Chevrolet Ford and dodge vans! Chevrolet Van's have always been my favorite! I ran many over 300,000 miles!
I worked at the Chevy Van plant starting in 1970, Lordstown, Ohio.
Lordsown will now make Electric Vehicles. I bought stock in it (DPHC) and Workhorse (WKHS).
Nice
Released April 1970. But you know when start make early Jan or Feb 1970?
Beautiful van. Much prettier and cleaner looking than the(admittedly more efficient) vans of today.
I love my old Suburban, best vehicle ever! They sure jumped that thing over that hill.
I had a 1979 G10 van shorty van that I sold about a year ago, I bought it new in 1979 from SM Rose in the Bronx.

Your radio would fall out before that engine stopped

Edward Pate body on frame let GM offer a cab chassis for cube vans and small school bus bodies.
Edward Pate unibody is cheaper to manufacturer and is safer then body on frame.
What they said ….also EPA fuel mileage mandates to help lighten up the whole enchilada.
Frameless construction stresses the body instead of the frame, not the better way.
funny how the Chevy van ending up more like the competitive vans as the years went on with the two side doors, the long dipstick, the batteries etc
Chevy G-series Van over the Express Van ALL day EVERY day...EVERY TIME!

Love the Suburban.
6:15 Lombard St. San Francisco, CA
There is probably poo there now
Back when USA vehicles were customer friendly.
Back when you can do repairs yourself on a vehicle. Today's cars and vans suck. I'm sorry to say it but I speak the truth.
Just getting to the battery is a pain 😫
Just learn
Working in the Chevy van is not that easy, so far everything took me longer than expected.
I love me a big, juicy, windowless van.
Seinfeld :) I got you buddy !!
