My great-grandmother was a Muslim and always recited prayers to me when I fell asleep. It was mesmerizing, thank you for your work, it reminded me of her and soothed me as a child

my parents tried a variety of belief systems as i was growing up: christian, jewish, new age spiritualism, etc … some of my most calming memories are of them doing prayers + reading religious text to me at night before i fell asleep. so this is especially calming to listen to at night before falling asleep. even though i don’t know exactly what is being said (haven’t read the Quran yet though it’s my intention to do so) the beauty of the language, the beauty of nostalgia, and the beauty of your intention is what soothes me. thank you for sharing this with the world 🔆
