Question about Islam (I'm very disgusted) Hello, Recently I came across this in Islam, and it literally blew my mind. I can't explain how disgusted I am by this, and anyone in the right sense of mind will agree with me. Basically, this is from the "Commentary of al-Qurtubi" on Surah 33:50. In this commentary of his, he outlined 16 privileges Muhammad alone was given, and one of the 16 privileges (the 10th one) says: If Muhammad looks at a woman (and desires her) then it is necessary for her husband to divorce her and for Muhammad to marry her. Also, just to mention, this is authentic, because as any Muslim would and should know, al-Qurtubi is one of the most known and credible commentators on the Quran. So, this is not false information, it is true. In fact, I even tried to find a Muslim's view on this on the internet, and on Answering-Christianity, one of the writers did not say this is wrong (so indeed it is true). He simply shrugged it off by saying that there's nothing wrong with such special privileges and that Allah knows best. So, above, I have made a point, and shown that is true. If anyone here can justify that, please do so. I don't think something like this can be justified. And, just for more information, below I have copy and pasted all of the 16 privileges (if anyone wants to know). So everything (but point number 10) below is not related to the question. First: To be fair with the spoils. Second: To (forcefully) take a fifth of a fifth or just a fifth (of the spoils of war). Third: "Al Wisal" (Dimitrius- the fast or fasting. This usually refers to fasting or abstaining from food.) Fourth: To take more than four women. Fifth: To marry, "Yas-tan-kih" (or have intercourse), with a woman who verbally pronounces her dedication (to the prophet). Sixth: To marry, "Yas-tan-kih," without the presence (or permission) of a legal guardian. Seventh: To marry, "Yas-tan-kih," without a dowry. Eighth: To marry (and have intercourse) during a state of ritual consecration and purification. Ninth: The annulment of an oath he may make to his wives. Tenth: If Muhammad looks at a woman (and desires her) THEN IT IS NECESSARY FOR HER HUSBAND TO DIVORCE HER AND FOR MUHAMMAD TO MARRY HER. Ibn Al A’raby said, "This is what the servant of the two holy mosques has also said, as was clear to the scholars FROM THE STORY OF ZAID which also had this meaning." Eleventh: That the prophet released Safiyyah (from her captured status) and he considered her release as her dowry. Twelfth: To enter Mecca without being in a state of ritual purification. Thirteenth: To fight in Mecca. Fourteenth: That he is not inherited by anyone at all. This was mentioned in the oath of absolution for when a man approaches death due to illness, most of his possessions are taken away, so that he does not have more than a third left for him. But the possessions of the prophet remained for him, as is evidenced in the verse of inheritance and in Surat Mariam. Fifteenth: His marriage is still considered effective after his death. Sixteenth: If he divorces a woman she remains prohibited to everyone and may not be married, "Nikah," to someone else.

With the handicap or disabled child I think if you're sleeping with your relatives theres more of a chance your kids end up with a disability .why is this sleeping with your relatives still happening?
Islam only allows getting married to cousins from relatives. The risk does increase but not that much, the risk goes from 3% to 6% chance. Still incredibly small. The issue is when a family already have genetic disabilities and/or consistently generation by generation marry their cousins. Women at 35+ giving birth is more likely to have a child with genetic disabilities than younger cousins who have kids. Does that mean we should stop them from giving birth too? Ofc not.

Furthermore, if Allah is, as Muslims claim, a loving, merciful and compassionate god, then why has he ordered the death of all those innocent civilian victims of the current Ukrainian war.
As an ex-Muslim I am well aware that Muslim apologists love to cite surah 5:32 to substantiate their claim that Islam is an inherently peaceful, tolerant and respectful religion. But, in reality nothing could be further from the truth. Fore sure, as Naik states, Islam does not permit the killing of "innocent" people. However, according to surah 5:32-33 both "corruption" or "spreading mischief in the land" are crimes punishable by death. According to Islam's most recognised and revered historian, exegete and scholar, Ibn Kathir, to "make mischief in the land" is interpreted as follows:...... "(And when it is said to them: "Do not make mischief on the earth,), means, "Do not commit acts of disobedience on the earth. Their mischief is disobeying Allah, because whoever disobeys Allah on the earth, or commands that Allah be disobeyed, he has committed mischief on the earth. Peace on both the earth and in the heavens is ensured (and earned) through obedience (to Allah). Ar-Rabi` bin Anas and Qatadah said similarly." So clearly, to disobey any command of Allah, as per Islamic doctrine, or to command that Allah be disobeyed (to publicly denounce Islam or to proselytize Muslims to convert to another faith) is, according to Islamic law, a crime punishable by death. It is not, as Naik disingenuously implies, only for waging offensive physical war against Muslims. Ibn Kathir then goes on to state that Peace can only be ensured by obedience to Allah. Meaning, by default, Muslims should wage war against non-Muslims until all either embrace Islam or are subdued under Islamic domination. This is made absolutely clear in surah 9:29:....... "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." Evidently, Islam is not a tolerant, respectful and peaceful religion, on the contrary, it is an intolerant, supremacist and violent totalitarian ideology whose fundamental objective is the establishment of a global caliphate and the imposition of Islamic Sharia, by force if necessary. Usually it has been asked for men and women to wear separate clothes, however it's still a question cuz Punjabi wasn't a dress code of that time it's something people recently created so how exactly can you tell that's a dress for men when that rule was made by us ! Besides they kinda look similar to Salowar Kamij. But it's as it has been considered as a men's dress for a long time and since men and women are asked to wear different clothing styles my personal advice is don't, just wear whatever dress code you have for women and obviously cover the parts that has been asked to cover

It wants people to lead their lives by rules set in the book but fails to teach the philosophy of life and one of the rule suggests that there is no god other than theirs and one who prays to other gods deserve to be killed or converted to their religion and if you follow the rule you will be rewarded in heaven. No matter how much people argue this is the ultimate truth preached in their book. They are so deluded that they believe in after life in heaven more than the real life and so don't care about the value of life.

Question about Islam (I'm very disgusted)
Hello,
Recently I came across this in Islam, and it literally blew my mind. I can't explain how disgusted I am by this, and anyone in the right sense of mind will agree with me. Basically, this is from the "Commentary of al-Qurtubi" on Surah 33:50. In this commentary of his, he outlined 16 privileges Muhammad alone was given, and one of the 16 privileges (the 10th one) says: If Muhammad looks at a woman (and desires her) then it is necessary for her husband to divorce her and for Muhammad to marry her.
Also, just to mention, this is authentic, because as any Muslim would and should know, al-Qurtubi is one of the most known and credible commentators on the Quran. So, this is not false information, it is true. In fact, I even tried to find a Muslim's view on this on the internet, and on Answering-Christianity, one of the writers did not say this is wrong (so indeed it is true). He simply shrugged it off by saying that there's nothing wrong with such special privileges and that Allah knows best.
So, above, I have made a point, and shown that is true. If anyone here can justify that, please do so. I don't think something like this can be justified. And, just for more information, below I have copy and pasted all of the 16 privileges (if anyone wants to know). So everything (but point number 10) below is not related to the question.
First: To be fair with the spoils.
Second: To (forcefully) take a fifth of a fifth or just a fifth (of the spoils of war).
Third: "Al Wisal" (Dimitrius- the fast or fasting. This usually refers to fasting or abstaining from food.)
Fourth: To take more than four women.
Fifth: To marry, "Yas-tan-kih" (or have intercourse), with a woman who verbally pronounces her dedication (to the prophet).
Sixth: To marry, "Yas-tan-kih," without the presence (or permission) of a legal guardian.
Seventh: To marry, "Yas-tan-kih," without a dowry.
Eighth: To marry (and have intercourse) during a state of ritual consecration and purification.
Ninth: The annulment of an oath he may make to his wives.
Tenth: If Muhammad looks at a woman (and desires her) THEN IT IS NECESSARY FOR HER HUSBAND TO DIVORCE HER AND FOR MUHAMMAD TO MARRY HER. Ibn Al A’raby said, "This is what the servant of the two holy mosques has also said, as was clear to the scholars FROM THE STORY OF ZAID which also had this meaning."
Eleventh: That the prophet released Safiyyah (from her captured status) and he considered her release as her dowry.
Twelfth: To enter Mecca without being in a state of ritual purification.
Thirteenth: To fight in Mecca.
Fourteenth: That he is not inherited by anyone at all. This was mentioned in the oath of absolution for when a man approaches death due to illness, most of his possessions are taken away, so that he does not have more than a third left for him. But the possessions of the prophet remained for him, as is evidenced in the verse of inheritance and in Surat Mariam.
Fifteenth: His marriage is still considered effective after his death.
Sixteenth: If he divorces a woman she remains prohibited to everyone and may not be married, "Nikah," to someone else.

In addition to these one vital point is there that is ensure your own safety properly. Make sure you are safe Don't throw yourself to the enimy. Yes after you confirm your safety and keep fighting still you may be hurt or even killed that's when you are "Shaheed" martyred. So in that consideration suicide bombings should be Haram. With the handicap or disabled child I think if you're sleeping with your relatives theres more of a chance your kids end up with a disability .why is this sleeping with your relatives still happening?
Islam only allows getting married to cousins from relatives. The risk does increase but not that much, the risk goes from 3% to 6% chance. Still incredibly small. The issue is when a family already have genetic disabilities and/or consistently generation by generation marry their cousins. Women at 35+ giving birth is more likely to have a child with genetic disabilities than younger cousins who have kids. Does that mean we should stop them from giving birth too? Ofc not.
@@saral9817 beautiful thing when a women give birth 35 and beyond however the cousin marriage needs to stop so many women in the world you to choose your cousin knowing the risk of your child being born with disabilities. Blood mixing between family historical has been a problem. I take your points on board.

Secondly, there is possible risk of birth and down syndrome in women giving birth at 35+. But that risk is also true for men having children above the age of 40 because sperm quality decreases. But hypocrite Muslims only want to marry 9 year old girls to avoid that risk but has no problem with cousins marrying or older men having children

may Allah always bless you. i am a kenyan . i had a dream last night about one moon being at the mid of the sky and the other moon at the far east. i was still wondering why since the moon at the mid of the sky was crescent while the moon at the far east was a full moo. suddenly the moon at the mid sky shot towards east and it disappeared. after a few seconds two more moons appeared in the east next to the one that was making it three. they looked like the sun because they started scotching the earth. to me it looked like judgement day, i prostrated down and starting offering my Salat when i suddenly woke up. In response to your implication that my only desires are now materialistic, I would retort that I believe your desires to be even more selfish. The sole purpose of your faith is in the vain and selfish hope that Allah will grant you eternal Jannah. Everything you do is aimed towards that end. Contrarily, any act of goodness I or any atheist does is borne out of a sense of genuine altruism. It is done without the expectation of favour or reward. It is a purely unconditional and selfless act.
Ironically, I believe that were there a loving, merciful, fair minded and omnipotent god, then he he would be more inclined to reward one whose benevolence and generosity were unconditional, than one whose only reason for his good deeds and, seeming, devotion is self gratification (an eternal afterlife).
Furthermore, if Allah is, as Muslims claim, a loving, merciful and compassionate god, then why has he ordered the death of all those innocent civilian victims of the current Ukrainian war.

As an ex-Muslim I am well aware that Muslim apologists love to cite surah 5:32 to substantiate their claim that Islam is an inherently peaceful, tolerant and respectful religion. But, in reality nothing could be further from the truth.
Fore sure, as Naik states, Islam does not permit the killing of "innocent" people. However, according to surah 5:32-33 both "corruption" or "spreading mischief in the land" are crimes punishable by death. According to Islam's most recognised and revered historian, exegete and scholar, Ibn Kathir, to "make mischief in the land" is interpreted as follows:......
"(And when it is said to them: "Do not make mischief on the earth,), means, "Do not commit acts of disobedience on the earth. Their mischief is disobeying Allah, because whoever disobeys Allah on the earth, or commands that Allah be disobeyed, he has committed mischief on the earth. Peace on both the earth and in the heavens is ensured (and earned) through obedience (to Allah). Ar-Rabi` bin Anas and Qatadah said similarly."
So clearly, to disobey any command of Allah, as per Islamic doctrine, or to command that Allah be disobeyed (to publicly denounce Islam or to proselytize Muslims to convert to another faith) is, according to Islamic law, a crime punishable by death. It is not, as Naik disingenuously implies, only for waging offensive physical war against Muslims. Ibn Kathir then goes on to state that Peace can only be ensured by obedience to Allah. Meaning, by default, Muslims should wage war against non-Muslims until all either embrace Islam or are subdued under Islamic domination. This is made absolutely clear in surah 9:29:.......
"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."
Evidently, Islam is not a tolerant, respectful and peaceful religion, on the contrary, it is an intolerant, supremacist and violent totalitarian ideology whose fundamental objective is the establishment of a global caliphate and the imposition of Islamic Sharia, by force if necessary.

What Ibn Kathir said applies on people who's GOAL is to spread corruption and mischief in the land, YOUR interpretation doesn't concern Muslims, Muslims interpretation is what concerns Muslims, if what you said is true then how come it was never upheld before?

If a woman is dressed in Punjabi and pajamas and has full body and call but is wearing Punjabi, is it permissible to perform salat? plz give me this answer।।
Usually it has been asked for men and women to wear separate clothes, however it's still a question cuz Punjabi wasn't a dress code of that time it's something people recently created so how exactly can you tell that's a dress for men when that rule was made by us ! Besides they kinda look similar to Salowar Kamij. But it's as it has been considered as a men's dress for a long time and since men and women are asked to wear different clothing styles my personal advice is don't, just wear whatever dress code you have for women and obviously cover the parts that has been asked to cover
Wow I was disappointed. He hardly covered about suicide and the man questions about suicide were not answered. Was he afraid that he would get bombed if he told the truth ? He rushed his response too.
I don't know why people judge Muslims by their behavior, Read Quran, Read about Islam how beautiful it is. @@amitaghosh2190 Flawed logic. A few people in a certain race or religion looking wealthy doesn’t mean everyone of that same race or religion is wealthy. This is how we get racism. Also, if a driver drives a car badly that doesn’t mean the car is bad. You have to evaluate the car on its own.
