What everyone else said! Thanks for the info on the installation of the tow brace. Where do you buy/find it? Also, are you going to be putting up any more Ostra vids? I'd love to see one where you flip a whole ship from start to finish! Also, the Cargo shipping is something that the community DESPERATELY needs! I REALLY want to learn how to choose and use the cargo pods! Thanks again, I know you're a small channel, so you've earned a Sub from this old man, son!
cheers for the sub. the towing brace is available from the Supplies store near the main airlock of OKLG (the blue sign). you must buy 2 parts (just get 2 x towing brace). as far as ship flipping , once you get somewhat comfortable and have a big enough ship to get good payouts (i just expand my starter) , buy a cheap (100k to 300k) derelict , get it sealed for atmo , then use the room guide i put in the description and subdivide the ship (bathroom , closed cockpit , reactor room etc...). just getting it sealed and flying yields a significant profit , but adding the rooms and a reactor will get you 10x your initial investment. cargo running is very incomplete atm and the variations in the pods will make more sense later in the development. good quality pods sell for 25-30k each , if you drag them in hand to the brown kiosk. dont sell them from a trade zone on your ship.
@@DrOctagon Thanks for the good advice. I guess I've never seen the "Tow Brace" for sale at the Supplies Kiosk. I'll have to take another look. I think I'll just make a couple ships "flight worthy" and sell them back for a profit before I tackle the REACTOR (ooooh, scary)! LOL Thanks again and I'm looking forward to more vids.
Thanks for the video on the towing brace, and flipping. Sadly not a lot of creators show end game. About your comment on legality & fines I think it is intentional given the lore of the game.
@alex4alexn my previous vids are from the launch (4 years ago) , so not much Ostranauts content that is relevant. The sub reddit and discord are great sources of information.
@seandavidson I just used a design I saw on reddit, but I have played with this set up and it is not optimal. Fast , but fuel hungry. I am going to play with the configurations and maybe make a video with results. I am leaning towards 2 x 2 vs 3 x 3. There is conflicting information online.
@@DrOctagon 3x3 done like that shouldn't work according to the manual. 1 capacitor can only control up to 2 lasers and 1fuel regulator can only control up to 2 pellet feeders. Also you need same amount of pellet feeders and lasers for optimal performance.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER.. I CANT BELIEVE WE GET TO GO TO VENUS AND FLY AROUND IN THE CLOUDS AT SOME POINT!

new sub here, i would love to see how you make good money in this game, ill check your content to see if you have already made some tutorials, cheers

Hey man, great tutorial! One doubt, once you are towing the ship, how do you dock to the station?
you cannot dock whilst towing. just put it where you want it. i use it to prevent it from floating off 1000s of kms , or crashing into Ganemed.
Is the 3 pellet feeder / laser array configuration solely for maximum profit or does it improve the performance of the torch drive?
