The Oaks is such an interesting neighborhood. Beazer decided to build a "luxury" product in a non-luxury area. The surrounding neighborhoods will hinder price appreciation. In fact, Beazer has slashed their prices substantially since they started constructing the neighborhood, probably because consumers were not intererested in paying such a high premium for a home in the area. Goose Creek has plentiful newer-construction neighborhoods but I don't think you should be paying a half million in Goose Creek.
