Top game to play when meeting after work. Easy to learn and clashing with someone collecting the same or screwing someone over who needs one card is fun. So for a “filler” game hard to see this not being awesome. Sometimes all you want is a couple of sushi not a roast dinner. This channel is great.
Bought this for myself as my very first personal, non-family-owned board game recently. It *is* quite lightweight, but then so are my friends... For what it is, it works well to whet the appetite of would-be collectors, and potential players. And of course there's nothing wrong with some light fun now and then.
Big group, late evening with lots of beer then this is the game to play. Hungover next morning...not so much 😉 Gonna say I love it for what it is. Harmless lightweight fun, fastfood not sushi really but you can't play eclipse 2nd dawn with all groups all the time, can you?! So, I agree: Maybe, maybe not... 👍
Thanks for the review and its a great family game for multi generational get togethers. Agree its thin on substance. Its great at Christmas to avoid those awkward in-law silences when you've run out of things to say ;-)
Well, i can't say i disagree with your comments, but i don't know, what can i say... this game is fun, and still works for me, after a couple of years i play it now and then with the same pleasure. Yes there is a good part of luck, yes, the game consists of .. drafting cards and nothing else. I have bunches of better fast and easy to teach card games (point salad, tea for two, jaipur, fantasy realms, fox in the forest, port royal...) but this one keeps its flavour. IMO, the main flaw of this game is that the cards are very very thin
The only thing I hate about it is that you have to do some addition in between rounds; which makes it not suitable as a casual drinking game (which its quick, simple fun design is somewhat targeted at).
Hey, do you maybe have any party games to recommend? Doesn't have to be for a whole bunch of players, 3+ would be nice. We enjoyed cartographers and codenames!
Yeah, filler game. Not much more to be said. Doesn't completely suck, but isn't a game that friends get together to play. Sort of like Red7, For Sale, Scripts & Scribes, ... actually a couple of those are ok. Sushi Go is like 7 Wonders if all you like to do is pass the hand of cards around and select something.
It is funny. My Asian bird likes Sushi so I was able to get her into gaming through Sushi Go. Unfortunately she prefers it to most other games. At least, I finally have a sometime slag that likes gaming. For a good card game that grows you , plays two only and jas 25-30min, easy to.learn is Shadow Run:: Zero Day
"dumplings are fuckin awesome" broke me XD
Quite enjoy this playing as a family to be fair. 6 year old grasps it pretty good now and I think it does matter what menu you decide to make up.

Scout is a good filler game, too.

The intro cracks me up every time 😂

I found a copy at the Goodwill for like 2.50$, well worth the 2.50$
one of the few games my wife actually played too, does not happen to often in my house
Bargain

We got decrypto a while back. Great for 4 or 6 players and if you liked codenames I think it'd be right up your street
We and it and it pretty good.
Jason Statham reviews games. 😂
I was just stunt double in Crank 2
I have never succumbed to the charm of this furren cuisine - is there a chip-shop version?
Not during a cost of living crisis
Thanks for the review:)
🤣 cheers, mate!
Ooh -- fresh content!
You should smell my feet, son…

@@BoardGameBollocks I was excited about fresh content, not fresh bollocks.
This review is dumplings aka f*cking awesome. Sushi Go party is great with kids , but Id rather play 7 Wonders instead :)
Tru dat
That tin box that's top never fits means this game can go straight to Tartarus
Funnily enough I dropped the tin when doing the broll for this…haven’t said the C word for a week

Baby's first drafting game. Fine as someone's first ever game. Not a great one for gamers.

People still say “cringe”? 😂✊🏻💦
