Penitent is clearly made for hardcore players. You can be full legendary with all the aspects you need and easily down the penitent difficult. Nowadays i can do torment 3 with level 2 gear...
I sat through this whole thing with you half paying attention except for the parts where they were giving us new info. My takeaway is they didn't _really_ give us a whole lot of new info except a few adjustments to changes from the PTR. They didn't say anything about making world bosses worthwhile, they gave us little to no new info on the actual spiritborn that we've already had zero time with if you're not an insider, and make it look like we're all getting nerfed with worldwide difficulty scaling up. They can say people were hitting torment 4 too fast but I didn't feel like that at all. You know why? Because I DIDN'T abuse the goblin to hand myself perfect gear and actually played to try and _earn_ it while ancestrals are rarer than 2GAs are now. Torment 4 is far more of a slog than current T4 and I doubt I'll bother farming anything above 2 since it's just too slow, unless they make the loot drops much better. I really couldn't tell much difference in loot from 2 to 4 at all, and I played a lot of hours. But the season itself seems like a major let down in a "Don't look over here! Look at the expansion area and class!" kind of way. Another rep grind and a Portalwalker is the entire season? That's gonna suck ass for anyone that _didn't_ buy the expansion and I bet that's _exactly_ why they did it.
I feel like they could've made rares useful again by only allowing rares to have runewords applied to them and having the buff of the runewords with the stats of whatever rare they were on.
Ok, but will necro minions disappearing and not possible to resummon be fixed, or my character is still unplayable on console couch coop? If so, I’m skipping the expansion, won’t pay more for frustrating experience happening since beta.
Im confused. Arent the early access players like Raxx already playing this patch? If not, whats the point in letting them test for the past week if everything is changing anyway?
Because they are literally incapable of doing math/balancing the game. Rax LITERALLY had to send them a video clip of the runewrods that spawns wolves to tell them its dogshit. Without rax carrying these devs we would have a much worse version of the game.
The ptr wasn't the final product. Then certain players were given a pre-release version of the expansion that had the changes from ptr feedback in it. Then there'll be a day 1 patch at full release. So nothing anybody has played so far is the final version of VoH/season 6
So all their "hard work", and they still haven't made running dungeons actually interesting or fun. Just more chores to complete. They haven't made class skill choices interesting, with more to choose from. They haven't fixed the paragon boards "microgrowth" problem or glyph leveling chores. They haven't fixed the lack of variety with the content, from enemies, to events, to areas you visit. They haven't made the actual levelling experience fun, interesting, and most importantly, desirable for repetition. Just rush to end level and grind forever. Such a garbage group of developers, honestly. They have no clue.
Yikes. Edit: what's the current cap? With conjuration Mastery capping out at 30 conjurations in the upcoming patch, and the familiar being a conjuration, I'm curious if there's a way you can still make it work. We'll see.
Lots of people saying this. Here's my take: D2's runeword is technically just a "craft your own unique" system. If you really want D2's runeword in D4, Blizzard can make it happen very easily. 1. Create some (powerful) new uniques that are craft-only. 2. Create some new materials that's tiered and super rare to drop, or just use the runes... 3. Give Blacksmith or the potion guy one more tab (or a new merchant if they want to fit this into the theme even more) for crafting these uniques. 4. Done. Will Blizzard do it? I don't know, but system-wise we almost already have all the mechanics build in.
Nah bruh, imagine making all the other gear in the game essentially useless by putting D2 RW in the game. Don't have a Spirit? Trash Character. Don't have a Grief? Garbage Barb. No one wants this, just the people stuck in 2001.
@@caseybrown6813 I just think the game is too easy and lack "the hunt" for something. Blizzard is setting up for everyone to reach everything. Casualizing the casual.
@@DayW4lker I would vote for a lower mythic drop rate to start. In S5 I have more mythics than some of the build defining regular uniques (like Wildheart Hunger and Umbracrux), which is absurd to me.
@DayW4lker You'd be surprised how many people haven't even killed Uber lilith or even completed a T8 horde or 100+ pit. Some haven't even gotten a mythic.
Another insecure POE player. Relax please. No need to have such a vendetta against D4. Also, please note the amount of players when VOH launches and let us know if you think the game is “dead.” If anything, there were so much improvements in this expansion.

Thank you.
I am also very surprised they didn’t borrow more from the D2 rune system other than just the aesthetics and terminology
Spot on! Its just a sad shadow of what could have been.
Wow, can't wait to play this at exactly launch time and not deal with hours of delays and no news! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
the undercity seems very fun

I’ve had both Chipotle and Moe’s, I think Chipotle is far better, but it’s definitely a personal preference or choice…

Will wait for discount prices. Countries out side Europe pay insane prices becuz of taxes and weaker currency.
Torment 4 mount?!! That's interesting.
still kind of disappointed that raids are mandatory coop, not everyone has the luxury of having friends.
good thing they added a group finder lol

They're some Diablo/Cru-haters. No Paladin, no Devil, mehh activision era
my prediction is more fruit bowls.

Lightning spear nerfed max 12 spears
That is a massive nerf, LS dead

@@jedirayden i didnt have great gear and i had around 12 stacks when smashing tier 8 hoardes so i think it will still be good just not the best
I hope the servers are ready!
why are they mad on everything about d4 what the f is wrong in your life dude if you dont like skip it or do something else its so easy i dont get it
You didn’t get bingo tho, they just mentioned didn’t implemented or made something with armoury. Actually cheating
Runewords is the biggest dissapointment.
Should have been like D2 base system 😢

cookin rat burger
New expansion launches and the highest praise anything of all the new content got from Raxx was "it's decently fun" the rest was trash. RIP D4
hopefully you didn’t preorder it or else you’d be eating your words
