Matt Heafy (guitar and vocals) sings both cleans and harsh vocals, with some back up screams from Corey (lead guitar) too
The "female" vocals in Scattering are actually from Paolo the bass player! lol

Paolo’s voice is fantastic in my opinion.

Can't blame them for thinking that though, our boy Paulo gets up there with the vocals. 😂👍 Scattering is one of my favourite mellower Trivium tracks though. Very catchy & not too boring instrumentally/musically (I'm looking at you "until the world goes cold") 😉😂

There's also a section in "Down From The Sky" (off of their earlier 2008 album "Shogun") that has a very similar rhythm/feel to "Vacuity" like in bending the arc @ 7:05. Hope you will check out the whole Shogun record too because it is VERY worth it 👍😁 (Feel free to leave "Shogun" the track out, I know you've done that one already hehe) Keep rocking ladies 🤘

@Yeltnerb 1 Lol, these ones neither, just a few pick scrappings and some death elements but the ladies are too much focused on that hahaha

@Yeltnerb 1 well probably because only Gojira sound like Gojira, Trivium sounds like Trivium … pretty simple

"Shogun" is Trivium's real McCoy, greatest artsy of their musical ability. Jump-started their whole career and launched them into being a certified household name in the Metal World:)

@Yeltnerb 1 Yes.. true, when it come to mainstream beyond "NA" this album thrives:)

@Yeltnerb 1 Ascendancy was their initial kick off/blowing up point but I think most people tend to agree that Shogun is their most cohesive record as a whole. The culmination of the themes, technicality & aggression throughout just makes that album it's own thing.

Love this. React to SIn and The Sentence by them. So far my favorite album. This one was great too though

Great reactions to a great album!
I would love to see your reactions to a band called Orbit Culture.
Their latest album is absolutely fantastic and a good place to start would be with either The Shadowing or Open Eye
