Special mention to OG as they are the previous champ.
I must say W33 replacing Muttumba was a surprising element and factor to help Liquid to the Final because they had a hard time in ban pick when W33 is in the lineup and his ability. Yes, he went to the final in Ti6 but after that, he couldn't make it further and everyone seems to look down on W33 prior to Ti9. It seemed easy to OG but to other teams, there was little time to find a solution but OG was smart enough to ban all W33 heroes especially Meepo in the Final.
Yes, but ShadowFiend is a Pick that did not isolate anything in the entire PLAY and LGD gave it the second game. minute 20 they let the Centaur die and cost them the game.

Fy was a god on Rubick the first game, it's hard too say whether FY or GH is more impactful as Rubick. GH as Rubick did more damage then Ame as Lifestealer in game 2, and just under Somnus. FY made some fight changing plays though, the guy in insane on Rubick, the only player I feel that could contest is GH, Yapzor or maybe Jerax (though with Jerax is not mechanically as good but best play maker in the game).
How did he deal so much damage on Rubick on the second game ?
@@whiterunguard9182 he always poking with his W. The reason why LGD team isn't having a good damage might have something to do with Rubick's W, which is minusing the physical attack. Fy can't do a lot of damage because Lion have a short range attack and he's more of a disabler/counterganker than a poker.
“Maybe jerax” when his rubick is among the most underrated with the ti8 game 5 grand final performance. People sleep on his performance there hard.
The final shot of Liquid's parents proudly cheering was a nice touch.
