2020 Universal Treasures Basketball the Hunt for 1986 Fleer Jordan

- Picked up another box of the Christmas Edition Universal Treasures Basketball in my search for the 1986 Fleer Jordan. In the past I have been lucky enough to pull one of his stickers from that year but I am still looking for his rookie card. Check out some cool cards and a really awesome pack of vintage fleer!
In the slow reveal, CJ received three consecutive 86-87 Fleer cards:
1. A Bulls player but not Jordan
2. A "Michael", but not Jordan
3. An "MJ", but not Jordan
You'll never convince me that this wasn't intentional! Still, some solid pulls, certainly more legit than the repacked wax garbage or the obviously previously searched packs and boxes we've seen on TH-cam.
This is a cool product...A lot of great old school players and in great shape
The cards are in great shape, but I doubt if the players are nowadays lol!
Ran right by the ‘87 Barkley (2nd year) and then got excited by the ‘89 Jordan (4th year) a few cards later. Assuming comparable condition (and the Barkley actually looked to have better centering), the Barkley is the better pull!

I'm concerned about products like this. Since there are no manufactured rack packs besides 1989 these are easily searched. Has anyone pulled any 86, 87 or 88 Jordans?
Hi nachos..I have pulled every Jordan from these, with the exception of the 1986 base. I have the videos up on my channel, so please check them out and subscribe. They are definitely a gamble. There's good cards but the condition on some of them is what frustrates me.
When I win the lottery, I'll buy out all of these packs and destroy all the wrappers.

@@cjsportscards9172 I’m speaking for for people but if I had a ton of money I could spend days opening chase packs. We all have a lot of fun doing it and it’s exciting when we hit. I recently hit on a Griffey Jr rookie. I know it’s not as impressive as many others but I still got what I was aiming at
The gum stains add character to the card...and who knows, maybe you'll get a stain that looks like Jesus and then your stained card is worth a lot!

Is it really Akeem Olajuwon? I've always thought it was Hakeem Olajuwon. 😕 Don't matter anyway. I was always all about Clyde 'The Glide' Drexler back then. I respect Jordon most definitely. But im still a Trailblazer fan to this day because of the Glide, and ive lived in Iowa my whole life. I haven't been to game yet, but when i do it'll be the first time meeting other Rip City fans in real life. ✌

Howdy Homer! Time Machine Sportscards is where I have purchased them. They are pricey...I have spent over $6,000 on a hot case. Fun to open and I have added some good cards to my collection but it is definitely pricey!

How do you order I went to the website it just tells you the price but can’t order…
I haven't ordered from them in quite awhile but when they have product in stock, you click on the order button and it will take you to a progressive screen to pay.
I thought these boxes were $200 at the most but $2,000?? No way. 1989 fleer jordan is played out and not worth much even graded.
Definitely pricey as buyers (like me) chase the 1986.
Try the gum we need too know if it’s psa 10.

These were originally $350...I had picked up a couple at that price. Now, they're $2,000 ish. It will be interesting to see if the vintage/80's market stays hot enough to keep demand up for those. Thanks for watching JK and more fun chases to come.

The 1989 Jordan's are very valuable, if in the right condition. Gem 10's of all of his 1989 cards (his base, the all star card and the sticker) easily go for $1,000+, some greatly exceeding that amount. But even dropping down to an 8 reduces the prices to $50-$100. Congrats on owning 3 of those bad boys! Thanks for watching Orlando.

@@cjsportscards9172 raw they sel for $6 to $25 .. im sure yours are badly centered and not 9's or 10's .... the one shown in this video was terribly centered top to bottom. on ebay it would go for about 12 dollars lol

They are going for anywhere from $2,000-$2,500 when they pop up on Ebay. Definitely expensive as everyone is chasing the vintage Jordans, along with the other stars of that era. Thanks for watching and I'll be posting more.

Agreed on the off centered messes. I have cracked a few vintage boxes (not this product, standard boxes) and it is insane how off centered cards can be.

So you bought a resealed pack from the guy who reseals them and knows exactly what's inside? Ummm LOL No wonder you lost a ton of money on this. Both Jordans are off center. Maybe $200 of combined value if you're lucky. Ouch!
As I said when I started the video, I knew it was a long shot and more wanted to open it for entertainment value. They state that "all cards are in the chase" but to your point, who knows. There are more of these for sale on Ebay but I only did this 1 to check it out. Thankfully my kids liked the candy...Thanks for watching Travis!

I enjoyed watching this video, but it kinda made me sad knowing that the ‘86 Fleer Dream chase is just a gimmick and a selling point to suck in buyers. Yes you got some cool cards, but I believe this product is a hoax, and its buyers are pure gamblers.

They are sold out now and only can be purchased on EBay. The prices on EBay are much higher then what they originally sold for…people paying around $2-2,300 for a chance at that MJ rookie or the 86 Fleer pack.

These are repacks made over the last 2 to 3 years, definitely not original packs from the late 80's.
FAKE - guy is a scam artist. Go look at the video of the rack pack with the 86 Fleer pack opened with the fake Jordan rookie in a resealed pack. This guy has made probably a million bucks at least repackaging a bunch of garbage.
Why do you need a reason to get really drunk at noon?
