This game is criminally underrated. Hardly anyone talks about it yet it's massively awesome to play. It's quite intense but quite fun to play and the bosses rocks.
I like that no matter what, the prehistoric creatures win. And to be fair, they are hanging out on the island and keeping to themselves, they just have the most intense border patrol you ever did see x3.
14:52 this area and boss fight always creeped me out. The sound the Ammonite makes, the deep sea cave background and the music really put a fuel inducing nightmare... really great ambience there. SNK is more than KOF and Metal Slug, SNK should revive this series. Something different for once.
This a game that needs a modern expansion. Just give the player an airship full of biplanes, autgyros and Jules Verne type vehicles, a selection of pulp archetypes equipped with old school weapons and let them explore an island of dinosaurs and hostile cavemen, maybe expand your team with survivors stranded on the island. Like Strange Brigade with vehicles.
I admit, that it's awesome to play the old classic games, such as R-TYPE I & II (which i played only on the Amiga 500), P47 THUNDERBOLT and U.N. SQUADRON 😺👍, but this seems a little bit too much 😹.
