    When he used two, then made one spin while knocking the other back and forth, it actually just made me laugh out loud and shake my head. Audacious performance.
    That he could even come up with the idea, let alone execute it, is absolutely mind blowing. Easily the best performance I've ever seen by absolutely miles.
    Stunning, stunning, stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I've never wanted to pick up devilsticks more than now. Those momentum stops are just too cool.

    It would have been worse if he did tricks everyone has already sen a thousand times but flawless. I MUCH prefer this more complicated routine that he actually won with because the quality of some it far surpassed his few mistakes here and there.

      +Jennifer Bedard Yes, he could have made many more mistakes and I'd still be dumbfounded at his routine, so awesome and creative.

      Yes, marking down mistakes too severely discourages creativity (in competition, anyway) and rewards safe routines using tricks that everyone else uses.

    Does anyone think the first "drop" at th-cam.com/video/11Vj89nbXDw/w-d-xo.html is part of the act? Seems like the drum beat at the end was perfectly timed...

    • @fisty539

      I think many of the drops are part of the act personally, or maybe he's recovering well. I notice he stares at where it flys off then looks at the audience while picking it up with his feet or rolling it perfectly in time with the music. Either it's part of the act or the pressure

    This was completely amazing, however before his performance he needed much more practice. Did anyone else notice how much he dropped it? He has a ton of skill, but he needs to practice until he does it perfectly.

      ***** I'm sure that can be prevented with practice. Maybe it will take many years to perfect, but there is no way it is impossible.

    • @Zmagic500
      @Zmagic500 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** I have, and drop it a lot. That is because I have only done it for several months. I assume that if I practice enough I can control where the stick goes so I don't drop it.

    • @Zmagic500
      @Zmagic500 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      ***** There is a cap on human ability, but I don't think that is where the cap is. If you practice hard enough you can not have to react to what the stick does because you do it the same every time. You being condescending by saying that there is no way not to drop it seems a bit odd to me. Like you are proud that you drop it sometimes. either way I am going to practice until I don't ever drop it on the tricks I do.

      @Zmagic500 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ***** You see that is just not true. You call me a moron because I think it is possible to do a devil stick routine without dropping it. I think that with dedication you can master any trick (within reason). Being a moron means I'm stupid, that I have a low I.Q., not that I have a differing opinion on something you have no proof for.

    • @Zmagic500
      @Zmagic500 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ***** if you drop it then the trick is not mastered. I have seen routines where they don't drop it.
