Any thoughts on the Japanese products like Rinnai it's really being pushed marketed strongly in our area?

This VERY informing video! But didn’t explain replacing the burner box?

well You have to take the whole thing apart to get to that .. that's a chore there , I have done it a bunch of times. but labor will cost more than just getting a new one.
Next time the guys bring me a frozen one I do a complete tear down

How would you replace the heat tubes if necessary?

Mine supports the household water; plus water for my Rheems hydronic furnace. The techs are saying my furnace is not getting enough hot water flowing through the furnace to fully heat the house; and there must be a problem with your Rheems tankless heater. Any suggestions?

From a reliability standpoint have you seen a clear winner with one of your manufacturers?

@@PlumbingSolutionsLLC Do they use Japanese parts in Navien?

Not Sure. South Korea I think. They were just ahead of the time with their technology when I was installing them 6-7 years ago.

Mine just had a tripped breaker on the electrical outlet because of something else that was plugged in to the same outlet. Luckily found it before I tore mine apart. Whew.

Our Rinnai has never given an error code. But we lose hot water after being in the shower. We had the unit serviced and we are still having issues. I usually take my shower early and never have a problem. But my wife starts her day later and has the water start out hot to go cold. But this doesn’t happen all the time. We have removed the filters in the shower heads. It can also happen with in any shower. Would a pressure regulator help any or is there another reason this is happening?

It sounds like a low-pressure issue. more people using more water later in the day? Maybe... Call the water dept.

error code 66 (bad mixing valve) is this a common problem on these? does replacing the mixing valve resolve this issue?

    • @PlumbingSolutionsLLC

The bypass and control valve is one of the top issues I have with these. but , maybe one or two a year and we install 1000's
