Those gloves just don't get down into their coat to remove much fur. With the fur wand thingy it's made from directional velvet, so you brush in one direction against the grain of the fabric and that hooks onto the fur. I've used velvet brushes for years, they've always worked for me :)
You can get some tough plush toys, Key has quite a few that are still intact, some don't last though, but luckily Key doesn't eat the fluff.

Oh my goodness I agree with everything Except the Fur Wizard works great on clothes, beds & furniture. It Only works in 1 direction on each side. It collects Tons of Fur instead of tearing off a whole roll of roller tape! Honestly it won’t work the way you showed it. One direction long strokes!
The fur wizard works pretty good without the waste of the tape on lint rollers. However you have to only drag it in the direction of the arrow. If you do it back and forth nothings going to happen.
I keep and use the fur wizard in my Jeep. It takes a little time to figure out how to use it because it only works one direction but it does work and help with the "teddy bear murder scene" that my white husky creates in there. Mine isn't a wizard though, its another brand. Jeeps have that weird carpet.
Fur wizard works. You are just using it wrong. You are supposed to "swipe" it in ONE direction only (NOT back and forth, cz if you do, it's like you are putting back the hair you just picked up). Simply swipe it in the opposite direction of the fiber. It usually works best on fabric couches or clothes. Hope this helps!

I used rubber dish gloves to get the fur off of furniture, out of my Camaro and 4Runner, even my clothes. We keep a pair just for that. We do have 3 different vacuums. I agree no plush toys. I get mine the bully box toys, if it comes with ropes/cords I just throw them away. I use a under coat comb for the fluffy butts. LOL.. My luna has been shedding/blowing out Like crazy this month. And shampoo and conditioner for shedding. It helps. Thank you for your recommendations on what not to buy huskies! Also Congratulations to to Cassandra!!!!
I got my husky a shark toy; it's made for big chewy dogs, out of very sturdy material like coarse thick jeans or something. It's the only toy that is still whole after six monts or so and he loves it. When I say "where's the shark?" he goes get it lol.

For stubborn huskies e-collars that vibrate instead of shock work well but I do much prefer using a clicker, clicker training can be very affective. The fur gloves aren’t too bad to just help get some fluff off but you’re right, the brushes are better :)
Aw I already bought the FurWizard and I gotta agree with sixty it takes some hairs out but it usually doesn't leave it clean
The fur wizard is just a lint remover brush, they were used before lint rollers but you’re only supposed to use them going one direction. Idk how much the wizard is but I’ve seen the lint remover brushes at the dollar store and they all work the same 😅

Wish you would have put this out sooner I bought a fur glove about a month ago for my husky and was very displeased with the results. However I was able to salvage it by using it on my moms German shepherd who has a very short and thinner coat

For plush toys, mine used to destroy and conquer them so I bought $4 ones at a dollarstore vs paying $20 at petstores for toys that they would ruin within 5 min. Hole in toy = went in trash. They caught on that if they ruin toys, they don't have toys. So now they don't ruin their toys anymore xD

HA they got us on the fur wizard such a waste of money! We use a duel sided shedding blade on our Hannah works great on her coat.
My husky has a little plush toy that I bought for him when he was 7 weeks old. Now he’s 6 months old and the plush toy looks so small next to him but he still carries it around everywhere 😊
Great video! I wouldn't buy E- Collars at all, I just feel there are other ways to train dogs to listen without the use of shocking, I might be wrong but I believe they are banned here in England.

I have never used the fur wizard but when I volunteered at the animal shelter they had a similar thing and it worked like magic for cat hair

I recommend avoiding those black rubber tire tug toys they sell in Petco and Petsmart. Maybe it was just our bad luck but I bought one of these when my lab was a puppy and not only did it just reek of rubber it made my pup soooo sick. He didn’t chew on it or eat any part of it but just putting it in his mouth and playing with it made him vomit like no tomorrow within just a few hours. The rubber smell was just so bad too I’m not surprised he puked. Not fun.

I bought so many plush toys for my dogs that they usually go onto the next toy before getting bored with one and destroying it. Also, I've noticed my dogs choose to destroy some toys right away while the others we get from the same brand stay alive for a decent amount of time.

Hey, I have been here for a lot of time, later when I am older (I am 15) I want to get one. I went to a Husky-Camp in Austria, where I live and it was awesome.
So my problem is, that I dont feel confident enough to raise a dog like that. The owner of the camp was professional musher and I have the fear, that the dog wont learn and that hes not getting happy or not getting pretty damn fit (like the dogs in the camp)

I have a pair of the gloves in my Amazon cart, all of the reviews are 2+ stars from husky owners, the bristles are advertised to be longer than the normal ones, but I should probably replace them

Most certainly can unfortunately. Highly recommend a puppy class to let them get used to being around other puppers. If there is a second doggo in the house, this can also work to help with their bite restraint. We have a pupper who was separated from her littermates too early for safety at the rescue. But she had a lot of trouble when we first adopted her and she would bite my puppy too hard. But thankfully they were close in age so they filled each other in as time went on. Now they're 10 months and 9 months and the best of friends! 💖

Lol obviously....there's a reason 8 weeks is the standard. Honestly i think it shouldn't be legal to purchase pets at an unsafe time. (I'm talking most situations in general where the pet and the owner should wait). Hope your dog is doing okay now. I am aware that there are several sellers out their who lie about a puppies' age to make a sale. I have encountered several in my search for a puppy.

Lol plush toys. Hahaha stuffing EVERYWHERE! I never had a Siberian who didn’t destroy a plush toy in 5 mins. I found one or two that had strong enough material where she doesn’t completely obliterate it and that will last a few months.

Was gonna post something about that. I got mine some athletic wear boots for paw protection from the pavement and other hazards to his little (not really little) pawsies.
Agreed! In Phoenix the sidewalks alone can break 120° for almost half the year (asphalt gets over 140° all the time). Even rocks/gravel are bad... Now getting our husky to keep boots on is a whole other story lol
@@SirOtterman I totally understand that. My boy didn't like the boots at first but they grew on him plus they have the stronger velcro straps and padding to keep them on his paws which helped. About 2 days of wearing them because I take him with me to work and well he's used to them. Plus I think he actually likes them now because he can take turns on a hard floor without sliding into the wall before heading up the stairs. I believe I got him the canine equipment boots from cross peak and well they are awesome.
