Its crazy how close these lyrics are to a female villain I'm writing ATM, she has a dragon in her family, she's a warden on a prison ship and she's a daughter of a titian king and she's trying to give her demon lover a body with a soul to live in, so said demon can possess a powerful armored suit made of black goo. also its a Christian book.

I'm 5 years too late but I'm OBSESSED with this song. I've listened to it in repeat for hours in straight. Josh Money (if the singer is him) definitely needs to sing more. His voice is the main reason I can't stop listening to this. Very Type O Negative vibe, he sounds like he belongs to a dramatic goth album and THAT kind of a voice mixed with synthwave? Priceless!
Wow this is just pure epic, yet sad song. I'm still not sure if I get what is the meaning of the song.
However, for sure I know that last fragment of the song "Hold as you die" is hitting hard as hell. Pure depressive vibes. I've even shed tears while this fragment started. While I began doing so in whole song.
This is in NO WAY a criticism, I genuinely love that one of the verses drops reference to a bunch of TV tropes articles

Before I got into synth I never cared much about lyrics, only that the song had a beat that I liked
But ever since the TH-cam algorithm fed me those first few scandroid songs, that has completely changed, cuz God damn synth songs with lyrics somehow always have really REALLY damn good singers

This song played on a USB I had in the car as I drove back to my parents house just after I heard my father had died. The sun was setting with a reddish hint into a beautiful clear blue sky and it slowly turned to night as I headed back. I repeated the shit out of this the whole 2 hour journey. Apt in every single way, it brings me back to that night every time I hear it. But it's an awesome tune, and holds so many memories.
