Had Jym in my cart. Just so happen to come across this while doing a lil' research on it. Glad I did. I member thinking Jym products weren't quality or were overpriced, but couldn't remember why. Guess this is why. 6 years later from when this video was made, and his products still say the same shit. Always do your research people. I work at a local nutrition store, and we just recently brought in some of y'all's line (no protein yet, unfortunately, trying to get the manager to bring that in!) but I have been WAY impressed with y'all's line: pharmaceutical grade, full disclosure, no fillers... Now after watching this, I'm sold! FINALLY a quality company out there that probably cares a little bit about their consumers actually getting a high quality product, not just portraying a high quality product. KUDOS!!!

I like Jim, I think he has provided great information, I've use his programs and tips from Muscle and Fitness Raw series and admire his passion. With that said, you're so in the right on this that nobody could fault you one iota for calling him out. His original statement shows he didn't even give your product the proper glance, I wonder if he even posted the original post you show or if it was done by somebody who works for him. I had never looked into NutraBio before but I will now.
One thing about NutriBio, it doesn't sit around a warehouse before it is packaged. It's fresh. Most brands have their protein manufactured in bulk, then it sits around in the heat and the air - for months and months. Then, they package it.
Someone link this video in Jim's channel so I thought I would do my research and watch your video. Let me say I was blown away. I thought I was doing everything right. My protein powder was from a grass fed cows and protein bars were from also from a all Natural no fillers company. Products have came a long way since I started in 91 while in the Army. I took a break for about almost 20 yrs. Now seeing this I am going to try your protein powder. Thank you again for a great informative video
Facts? It’s just another supplement creator pushing his own brand. He’s got to make money too. If you take his claims as facts, then you must be quite gullible. More scientific research needs to be done on both products in question.
Very good video and I can appreciate that it wasn't just bashing and name-calling as a rebuttal. Obviously, the issue isn't whether Pro-JYM is a good protein or not (it is, and it is still superior to the NutraBio protein due to the addition of a medium-digesting protein, and the amino acid profile the egg contributes in addition to the whey's and casein's. And for it's protein sources, it is priced fairly and competitively). The issue is that Jim claimed to be the only non-prop blend, and that even if he wasn't, he was the first, which is obviously untrue. This would only be true if you examined the top selling brands as competition (brands like MusclePharm, Cellucor, EAS, Muscletech, Optimum, etc), but it is patently false when the entire market is considered. It's also plain silly that Jim doubled down and made that FB remark about not understanding the label (to be fair to Jim, after he further looked into the label, he did soon after delete the comment and withdraw his concern regarding the numbers). It's also true that NutraBio is even more transparent than JYM. JYM might be the most transparent among the big dogs, but again, it is not when the whole market is considered. I know the issue of percentage of protein compared to the serving size is an important issue to some, but it is not to me. The "filler" does contribute a few carbs and fat to my macros, but given that the amount is so small compared to my overall macros and the flavor and solubility of Pro-JYM, I'm fine with it. Pro-JYM is without a doubt the best tasting and mixing protein on the market, and I will gladly trade 7 g of carbs and 3.5 g of fat per serving for it. For those unwilling to do that, I can understand your standing on that issue, and would advise you to look elsewhere for a protein supp.
never heard of your brand...been loyal to JYM's brand but after watching this i wouldn't mind giving your brand a try when my current supps run out. ....probably try that protein in your video and a preworkout
MrSayonara88 before I knew anything about nutrabio I bought their pre workout and it's my favorite. Great pump and energy very worth the money. Soon I will be switching all my sups over. I love the full ingredient also.
MrSayonara - I've been using protein supplements for 35 years. I will tell you that the NutraBio Whey Protien Isolate Supplement is [without question] the best protein supplement I have ever used. Even in my 50's I could see and feel a difference. Recoup time seemed to be faster. Visually, muscle separation and definition seemed to increase without a change in diet. You'll never go back. Give their pre workout a try as well -- increased endurance without jitters or radical energy swings. Best of luck.

I don't usually call out other brands, this was the first and was only done as a response to Jym's false claims about the integrity of my products. I do a lot seminars on understanding labels and on recognizing the top supplement scams. I will be putting more of those up soon.
He pretty much shows exactly how to do that in this video. I went immediately and compared the nutritional info on my protein to the NutraBio numbers as Mark explains them in this video. Just follow along and you can assess how much actual protein is in your protein.
Agreed. Very well explained. The percentage of actual protein to the serving size clearly shows the fillers in the Jym protein. Stoppani's response to this video shows that he is trying to cover his ass. He falsely states that "proprietary blend " only refers to blends of sources of protein, whereas the industry term refers to blends of WPI and WP concentrate with other fillers like soy lecithin. WPI is the gold standard of protein. It is the purest form of complete amino acids including BCAAs for rapid muscle uptake. The rest of the ingredients are flavours and fillers.

Okay yes it is I am sorry when that restriction appears it means we cannot ship it to that country because of the ingredients. 10:33 PM why what is different about the ingredients? 10:33 PM That part I cannot advise since we are not the manufacture but I can tell you the restrictions are from a product list we get from customs advising certain items that cannot be sent either this can contain some sort of alcohol content or an ingredient in the item can make the item be considered a harmful product for use or the country

I have tried Jym products in the past during a brief absence from Dymatize ISO 100 series. Jym products were inferior to Dymatize. I just recently tried NutraBio products and I am very pleased with NutraBio 100% whey protein isolate because it is free of soy.
I used both and had to get down and looked at the ingredients and about shit myself. Can’t believe I wasted good money when I could have went nutrabio the whole time.
I just bought Jym's Pre workout and the Protein before I saw this. I may have to eat it and just give it away now. The pre-workout works well, so I'll use that till I finish it and switch to NutroBio after but the protein has to go. Problem is Vitamin Shop only sells the NutroBio Isolate and tit's pre-workout, so I will have to order online to get the Muscle Matrix. I did notice the fillers and the Aspartame, however, in the Jym's and was going to look elsewhere eventually anyhow. Glad I found this.
Mark, I've recently gotten heavily into weight lifting and weight loss. I've been fat for most of my life and after the death of my father due to weight related illness and issue, I've decided to radically change my life. I've finally decided to get into supplement use to improve my workouts. I was about to buy some JYM products then decided to do some research. Your educated and well spoken videos and aritcles have helped me better understand supplements. I will be transitioning to NutraBio products as my current stock runs out as your labels are by far the best in the industry. NutraBio became my go to when it was the first not to give my Crohns Disease issues. It's never made me feel bloated, sick, or tired like a lot of other protein powders on the market. If they used the powdered creamer like Jim did in his I would have had stomach issues for sure. Even if Jim as a great product he lost his cool and let his ego run his mouth. I'd rather stand by the company with the truly incredible and transparent product and this quality of their people leading the company.

The PRE will be OU kosher soon. All new PRE production runs will be kosher. We won't be stating kosher on the site until all flavors run through and are kosher because we don't want to cause confusion. You can call up customer service and they should be able to tell you what flavors have been converted and carry the OU symbol. I know that unflavored is now OU. PRE Extreme will not be kosher because of the HBCD (cluster dextrin) which we cannot get kosher at this time due to an enzyme used in it.

3 years too late... but another argument he should have done would be the number of servings per container. All that filler and for the same 2lbs tub you get 26 servings on Jym and 30 servings on NutraBio. 4 extra servings of protein per tub. After 7 tubs (6.5 to be exact) you already have saved on 26 servings (ie. exactly one tub less than if you just use Jym).
+NutraBio Karma will get you, oh well, that will make ar least two places that won't be carrying the JYM line, because the shelves in my home will never carry a JYM product either.

I used to use Jym Protein. It bloated me and gave me gas. It did taste pretty good..until I bought NutraBio 5 lb. tub of the chocolate peanut butter bliss! Great tasting, smooth and clean, no gas, no bloat.

Even in my 50's I could see and feel a difference. Recoup time seemed to be faster. Visually, muscle separation and definition seemed to increase without a change in diet. You'll never go back. I don't usually call out other brands, this was the first and was only done as a response to Jym's false claims about the integrity of my products. I do a lot seminars on understanding labels and on recognizing the top supplement scams. I will be putting more of those up soon.

He pretty much shows exactly how to do that in this video. I went immediately and compared the nutritional info on my protein to the NutraBio numbers as Mark explains them in this video. Just follow along and you can assess how much actual protein is in your protein.

Agreed. Very well explained. The percentage of actual protein to the serving size clearly shows the fillers in the Jym protein. Stoppani's response to this video shows that he is trying to cover his ass. He falsely states that "proprietary blend " only refers to blends of sources of protein, whereas the industry term refers to blends of WPI and WP concentrate with other fillers like soy lecithin. WPI is the gold standard of protein. It is the purest form of complete amino acids including BCAAs for rapid muscle uptake. The rest of the ingredients are flavours and fillers.

That part I cannot advise since we are not the manufacture but I can tell you the restrictions are from a product list we get from customs advising certain items that cannot be sent either this can contain some sort of alcohol content or an ingredient in the item can make the item be considered a harmful product for use or the country

I have a tub of ProJym in my cabinets....along with 2-3 other proteins. Who the hell only sticks with the same protein powder their entire life? Whatever tastes good, and doesn't give me the shits is all I need! I will probably try your stuff now too, but I'm a protein whore.

I have tried Jym products in the past during a brief absence from Dymatize ISO 100 series. Jym products were inferior to Dymatize. I just recently tried NutraBio products and I am very pleased with NutraBio 100% whey protein isolate because it is free of soy.

I used both and had to get down and looked at the ingredients and about shit myself. Can’t believe I wasted good money when I could have went nutrabio the whole time.

I just bought Jym's Pre workout and the Protein before I saw this. I may have to eat it and just give it away now. The pre-workout works well, so I'll use that till I finish it and switch to NutroBio after but the protein has to go. Problem is Vitamin Shop only sells the NutroBio Isolate and tit's pre-workout, so I will have to order online to get the Muscle Matrix. I did notice the fillers and the Aspartame, however, in the Jym's and was going to look elsewhere eventually anyhow. Glad I found this.
Mark, I've recently gotten heavily into weight lifting and weight loss. I've been fat for most of my life and after the death of my father due to weight related illness and issue, I've decided to radically change my life. I've finally decided to get into supplement use to improve my workouts. I was about to buy some JYM products then decided to do some research. Your educated and well spoken videos and aritcles have helped me better understand supplements. NutraBio became my go to when it was the first not to give my Crohns Disease issues. It's never made me feel bloated, sick, or tired like a lot of other protein powders on the market. If they used the powdered creamer like Jim did in his I would have had stomach issues for sure. Even if Jim as a great product he lost his cool and let his ego run his mouth. I'd rather stand by the company with the truly incredible and transparent product and this quality of their people leading the company.

The PRE will be OU kosher soon. All new PRE production runs will be kosher. We won't be stating kosher on the site until all flavors run through and are kosher because we don't want to cause confusion. You can call up customer service and they should be able to tell you what flavors have been converted and carry the OU symbol. I know that unflavored is now OU. PRE Extreme will not be kosher because of the HBCD (cluster dextrin) which we cannot get kosher at this time due to an enzyme used in it.

3 years too late... but another argument he should have done would be the number of servings per container. All that filler and for the same 2lbs tub you get 26 servings on Jym and 30 servings on NutraBio. 4 extra servings of protein per tub.
After 7 tubs (6.5 to be exact) you already have saved on 26 servings (ie. exactly one tub less than if you just use Jym).

I used to use Jym Protein. It bloated me and gave me gas. It did taste pretty good..until I bought NutraBio 5 lb. tub of the chocolate peanut butter bliss! Great tasting, smooth and clean, no gas, no bloat.
After watching your video when it first came out, I decided to give your product a try. Good stuff! I'm on my 4th can of Matrix now.
