  • Hello!
    I hope you’re well.
    UV resin being used for resin waves….who knew eh? I certainly didn’t until this experiment. Do you think this will be something you’ll try?
    If you’re interested in buying this keyring/luggage tag then let me know, I’ve not gotten around to listing it in my Etsy store yet.

    Beautiful! Did you use UV resin for the whole project? I still have to work with UV resin because it’s still cold where I live. Also, I LOVE JDiction resin!!

      Hi Susan, I used normal resin to make the key ring base (the sand and blue bit) and UV to do the waves and top coat. If you invest in a UV lamp (not too expensive) then you can have “sun” all year round 😅
      I love JDiction too, really good, solid products 👍🏻

    What type of white pigment do you use for the UV resin? Or was it an already white resin?

      Just ordinatary white pigment ☺️ I think it was Let's Resin's white pigment that I used (think I linked it below) but you can use any white liquid pigment, it's the UV resin that does all the work x

    Hello, is it possible to make waves through hair dryer?

    • @hscraftytutorials
      @hscraftytutorials  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Yes it is, I would just say be careful. Hairdryers are usually a lot more powerful than heat guns so you run the risk of blowing the resin too hard and it flying around 😅 low speed, high heat and a cautious approach needed ☺️👍🏻

    What was the latex for???

      Hiya, it protects the back whilst you work with resin on the front. Sometimes resin will drip down the sides and create little blobs on the underside that are a pain to remove via sanding if you don’t protect with tape or, my preferred method, with latex. Just peel it off afterwards and the blobs and drips come right off with it 👍🏻
